Great intention - but it sadly won't work this way...

If you got at example ClipMan for free at the 11th of July the license is tied to your BlackBerry ID Account. So after deleting you can redownload it again at any time for free without issue.

But thats fine. In case you like ClipMan I may have even more to offer in case you would like to spent me some bucks.

Some are weak, but a few are IMHO really good. At example BaSA is a really good tool to check out what is really going on at your device. While the built in device monitor does this on application level BaSA has a eye on the entry system and gives a lot of advanced options to analyze and compare values, times and data traffic.
Or check out Turbo Reader, I'm not sure if it works well with arabian characters, but since the basic version is free it is worth a try. And it fully integrates itself into your new ClipMan app.

Why they wouldn't know as it is there's this thread and more I believe about it. They sure know more about BlackBerry stuff than we do, I think.

Or maybe they care less.
Maybe making a thread with a catchy title will grab their attention.

I don't think they don't care but perhaps a decision not to mention it was taken out of respect as well as not to open up a whole can of controversy of religions and regions. However, I believe it is news about BlackBerry and in fact good news about BlackBerry caring and giving giveaways to BB10 owners for a special occasion and it should be just that newsworthy as are free stickers or free 1000 Alpha Browser app giveaways that is in the main. Hope they pick it up as two more weeks or so left only.

I ain't sure you read all the posts here in CB but quite some are agonistic and what's paved in this thread is a minute example of it, if you follow the context throughout. Now, I don't really divulge the notion that it shouldn't be propagated simply because it covers a minority of countries, and by the way I don't believe more than 1 billion Muslims is a small number for any company to brush off as minority and clearly BlackBerry knows this otherwise why the recognition and the giveaway here, and to follow your reasoning than Bla1ze wouldn't be putting out in CB main apps and giveaways that are only available to US or Canadian BB10 owners or James doing the same for UK and perhaps EU BB10 owners; and by your line of thought, there are more BB10 owners in Muslim countries than in just US or Canada or UK and thus BB10 owners in Muslim countries would be majority and as such this should be a main article in CB just as those that are exclusively available for other users based on region like the Christmas giveaways and typical regions are US, Canada or UK here. However, as you mentioned, CB guys would've cared more if this was in US, Canada or UK...

I'm not being facetious here, it's a genuine question - so was Hosni Mubarak essentially equivalent to (the actor) Brian Blessed in terms of how it came across, i.e. meaning the same as a word but unrelated, or did his name have a deeper relevance in Arabic?

In arabic names have meanings, so like here mubarak means blessed BUT that doesn't mean the person is fully up to his name (or his people wouldn't have done what they did to him lol) .
