SWS does not work on iOS 9 yet. BlackBerry has submitted the updated apps but is waiting for approval. So no one can tell except apple...

I just got off the phone with a Support Account Manager @ BlackBerry who said he has been using a test version of WorkConnect on his iOS since yesterday that is working without issue. HE could not confirm if the app has been submitted to APple as of yet for approval in the store but told me in the past apps have been pushed internally for testing simultanously as being sent to App store. He also said Apple can take up to 10 days to approve an App so lets hope BlackBerry has some juice at Apple to get this approved quickly but I do nto have much hope.

I'm hoping it gets fixed soon, the end-users who didn't get the message in time about not updating are getting restless. I'm also hoping Blackberry gives a reason for the outage and why this issue was only discovered so shortly before iOS9 came out. Did they not get a test sample of iOS9 or something?

so what do we learn about this desaster?
Is the mix SWS/BES and Apple not Enterprise ready?
should I use another MDM solution?
    should I switch to Android?
    ...?
It`s reallly sad that BB ist not able to handle Problems like that

In my personal opinion? The SWS conainer is not programmed by BlackBerry. So it was a good idea of blackberry to buy good with their iOS container solution. As they told us the good products will be integrated into bes.

So in a couple of months you get the good container :-) , sorry, the 'new' BlackBerry container solution :-)

THEY? told US? you say BB told you? so let`s hope your contacts to BB are more reliable than my ones are. THEY told ME that the new SWS Apps were sent to Apple on Friday 18th and it would only take some days for approval by Apple. so let`s keep fingers crossed that it is available on Monday...
