We're in the process of decommissioning our BES 5 and BES 10 servers. Fortunately, our company's central office will still run BES, but there's not very much support from an iPhone-biased management. I've been running these servers since 2008, so it's been a long time for me.

We have MobileIron for corp-owned devices (bought before BES supported iOS). We do still have BES centrally for iOS as well, but I don't know if they actually have any iOS devices linked to it; ActiveSync seems to be adequate for virtually all users.

Yeah our company went to Google Business... takes care of both hosted email as well as basic device management.

It really comes down to how much control do you need.... and how much in resources and manpower are you willing to put into that "control".

Not sure how many original BES installations were more about just getting email too devices... than about real management.
