    Hello,

My company is ditching BES. Is there a way that I can add my company email address while bypassing BES?

    Thanks.

you can try using activesync assuming youre using exchange. Just add an email account with your work email address. Chances are they have all new device connections set to quarantine so they will need to approve your connection of your device to the email server.

Tell your company that they are making a big mistake.

    BlackBerry Enterprise Service 12 ? BES 12 ? Download BES 12 - Canada

We aren't using Exchange...rather, using MobileIron.

Exchange is a mail server. MobileIron is a MDM solution. Two different things.

You are most likely using exchange for email and then will use mobile iron to manage devices that connect to your exchange server.

One is an email server and the other is an MDM solution that plugs in to the exchange/email server. Mobileiron will distribute an email profile to activated devices which will configure mail settings automatically.

You can bypass an MDM solution like bes or mobile iron completely if your administrator allows your device to connect in the exchange administration console to your user profile.

Sideloaded MobileIron onto my Q10...registered and it switched my email to activesync. So, looks like it worked out...for now.

Update for everyone. The side loading didn't work as my phone is still connected to BES so Mobile Iron couldn't take over. I have to switch to an iphone next week. Sucks but it is what it is. Will miss my Q10!

Deactivate your phone off the bes first. Then try sideloading mobile iron.
