RBC is pulling a BlackBerry. "It's coming!" Lol
That's for the app on BBOS I believe.
Mostly old people and folks writing bad checks. :D
The vast majority of 'Murricans use electronic banking.
Well, I contacted RBC and they confirmed that they would release an application soon, although they weren't able to give me a date...

I tried side-loading the Android RBC application, but it crashes as soon as it starts.

For what it's worth, I followed up with RBC a few minutes ago. This is what they replied:
"I do appoligize for not being able to provide you with a more specific date regarding the release of the BB10 app, however at this time we are still looking and the end of September. This would mean in the next week or so."
Thanks for the heads up. I was just thinking about this today.

I was just wondering about that today

I'll keep following up periodically with them until it's out...
Nice spelling <smirk>. *apologise

Apologize
No, apologise. The Royal Bank of Canada is Canadian, which generally follows the British way of spelling.

Thanks for the update...I've been checking everyday on BlackBerry World anticipating the release!

We used to follow the British way of spelling, now we make our own choices. These include using a "z" to make the zzz sound, as in the word apologize.
Just my $0.02

I've always used an s, but you're right. There is no clear consensus on the correct spelling. I once looked on thr Government of Canada website and basically it said, "spell it whatever way you want, as long as you spell colour "colour" and you include a little bit of the British way".
As for punctuation rules, like whether the comma goes inside or outside the quotations, I also follow the British way (outside).

No cents in Canada, anything under $0.03 gets rounded to 0. So your $0.02 are WORTHLESS!

Not if you pay with debit or credit!

I don't see any US banks with apps for the 10. The only brokerage I believe is Bloomberg. He must be a stock holder. So don't feel so bad. We yanks identify with your Canadian companies too you know.
Looks like RBC pulling a BlackBerry with their fail schedule promise. Look for October I say.

Well, they did have quite an issue with their iOS7 application that may have delayed the BB10 application launch. Whenever a transaction was made the app would crash, leaving no indication if it actually went through (it did).

Ah that's good to know, probably is the reason then
