Nice, now if there can be any positive bb10 news. Good for QNX.

One question I have is why does QNX work so well unless it's BB10? I'm not saying it doesn't work well but it certainly has its issues. Even a year or two ago I saw videos of a QNX car doing skype.

Would be nice to know what kind of licensing fees that BlackBerry get for the QNX CAR Platform - whatever that is. X number of dollars per system, per 100 systems, per 1000 system....

I taught that QNX did complete infotainment system, but it sounds like this Foryou is going to build a system, using QNX as the "base". The real money is in the finished product not in the ingredients. Of course you can make money selling ingredients too... just ask any farmer.

I don't think I've seen any production car using the full QNX Car system. There are many using QNX as the base such as Chryslers UConnect. One would think if this was a valuable revenue stream it would have been a separate line item in the Quarterly Report.

Would have been nice if it would have said "BlackBerry " chosen instead of "QNX. ". Just saying.

Cadilac is avertising their "Q" system which is QNX based and several other rmanufacturers also have started to promote the "connected" car concept. The unfortunate part of this is that the related revenues are not that great and does not materially impact Blackberry's financials.
