Are you telling me that all the carriers give Thor access to all of their customer records? That doesn't sound right.
Three points to add:
1) Fido something said that BBRY rose from 6 to 18 on rumours. That is incorrect. Shares have always been priced under book value. Investors speculated that BBRY would run out of cash and not deliver BB10. Shares started to rise when the quarter they showed a $2.1Bn cash balance and rose as it became clear they would deliver BB10.
2) BBRY made their "50% of new users from other platforms comment" on an analyst call and in the media. They definitely have proof. Or else they could be sued in a class action lawsuit for misleading investors. Raysgrumpy...why are you surprised carriers would be able to share that information...or as I heard elsewhere, it could be based on Z10 users registering new BB Id's.
3) This Dent..whatever firm is in trouble. You can make up rumours all you want (focus group said they hate the UI), but the moment you step into stuff like 'return data' you have to have proof. BBRY will essentially audit this firm and then slowly and publicly humiliate them for their methods and poor analysis. The cherry on top would be proof that they had bad intentions and were not just stupid. The analyst who wrote the piece is a York Grad who worked at Bell Canada...probably not the sharpest tool in the shed.
To add to this and as I have noted elsewhere, Verizon went to bat for BBRY on this by making an official public statement that DF's claims are bogus, and they were specifically cited in BBRY's press release. Right from the horse's mouth: the largest cellular carrier in the USA publicly states DF's claim was full of BS. End of story right there.
What I am hoping is that the rest of the shorting hacks who keep incessantly publishing FUD on BBRY will finally get cowed into shutting their fraudulent traps for once, unless they want to get investigated by the SEC too. The VAST majority of the fraudulent FUD being spread on BBRY originates in the USA.
You aint seen nothing yet. BBRY is running to over $100. BBRY will rule mobile computing.
Woah Woah, let's not go crazy here. If it hits $30 by the end of this year I'm more than happy.
