That's all before Mr CHEN was hired, me thinks things will change. (they better).

Ok then. I'm not understanding what he saw or heard from only this line.

"You had six or seven entities darting in and out with various propositions," he told reporters. "But there was never a unified business plan to say 'Okay, this is what we need to do'."

But if he didn't see a business plan hopefully Chen can make one if that's what it will take to get more investors on board.

Perhaps this was BlackBerrys problem all along. They needed to have a battle plan in place.

How come this guy was interviewed by reporters now? And why? Perhaps something I'll never understand about the media.

It's simple. If they had a credible business plan with a path to profitability, then they wouldn't have put the company up for sale. They simply would have followed said plan.

Chen could come up with a plan, even the armchair CEOs have lots of plans. What matters is whether the plan is a credible one.

And that's the big undecided (or unproven) isn't it?

I saw this come across the news feed. Not sure why when it's a couple months old now.

    It's dated 21 November.

The head of one of Canada's top pension funds confirmed on Thursday his firm was involved in talks over a potential buyout of BlackBerry Ltd but said he never saw a business plan he was confident would turn around the once-dominant smartphone maker.

I saw the same comments pertaining to the Fairfax proposal months back in the Globe and Mail.

This was released originally during the dd period and i think they are just replaying it. What did they say before? Something about being a bizarre process or some sort of comment.

This exact story was published before. Not news except to those who weren't paying attention.
de Bever is very unprofessional speaking about private discussions in such a public manner. Is he so hungry for media attention?
