    Many people still do not get it that bbry is still a hardware company, it has never been a software company like MSFT/Apple who had 30+ years of big operating system(platform) development experience.

    As for google, it just grabbed most of the smartest people in the world like Linux creator(Linus Torvalds) was recruited by Google. (BTW, he may quit already).

    a smartphone with just some email feature is far away from a platform like Window7/8 or MacOS.
