Android with the aquamail email app. It's superb for all my email accounts , now using it more than my curve.

It's like with everything else in life. You pay a discount price, you get a discount product. Nexus7, Nexus10 and Nexus4 aren't exceptions.

Everyone I know with a Nexus7 report big performance depredations over time.
I have both a Nexus 4 and the new Nexus 7 and they are amazing products that run buttery smooth and at $359 (16 GB - no contract) and $229 (16 GB), its a no brainer.

Most of you here can not even allow yourself to admit that you would go to iOS or Android. It must hurt so bad.
Probably W8 for me. Not a chance for the other fruit, I won't give them a penny. Android may be a choice but i'd probably prefer Tizen ... once my Qs,Zs and Aristo will become obsolete.

iOS - become "one of them" lol, then probably try Windows. I've used Android, so I'm in no rush to go back to that

The most annoying thing for me about android is the dark themes. I find it unpleasing to my eyes and I don't care that it uses less battery.

Anyways my point is that the Sony xperia Z ultra got a update yesterday which included a white UI theme.

I think this may be the thing I need to like android. I would love 4 or 5 blackberry apps in the Google play store to make me feel at home.

    I'm sorry guys.

I'd probably stay with BBQ10 because everything would work technically.

But If I can't do that..

I'd go to iPhone. It's more stable than Android. After owning a few Androids, I really like stability in my products.

Already dropped the Z10, gave Playbook to my wife, bought Windows phone along with Surface Pro and things could not be better. Try it, you might like it.

Sailfish os. Only os that looks interesting really. Ubuntu didn't really impress.

Don't care for the big 3.

ios - too basic and kiddy looking with ios7
    android - too clunky
wp - too bright and unprofessional

Not any more. Android 4.3 has TRIM enabled. So there is virtually no performance depreciation over time. Unless you choke up your entire storage.

And you do get exceptional products for the price. You can't beat the low-margins (and, to some degree, the economies of scale) on the Nexus devices. Remember that Google does not make much on hardware if at all (subsidizes the OEMs). That's the reason why the Nexus devices are cheap. It's not because they are subpar in quality.

A Sony Z1 most likely if BlackBerry dies a swift death in the near term. If they hang on or another year or so, maybe one more BlackBerry 10 device if whatever comes out after the Z30 isn't as big a piece of trash as the Z30.

For anyone still left thinking the Z30 will sell because the Moto X proved specs don't mater, the Moto X has been on the market only WEEKS and has seen its price slashed 50%.

BlackBerry would have to launch it as their new ENTRY level phone selling it free on contract at launch for it even to get noticed.

It's sad cause BlackBerry 10 is really good and getting better with every update. But BlackBerry just couldn't keep up with the market and didn't realize that the market doesn't place a premium value on their products anymore.

Plus, unlike the Z30, the Moto X has some innovative/unique features coupled with a very strong ecosystem. So, definitely, the Z30's likely "premium" price will be way off.
