Jaguar Financials asking a question! Stone them!
stock is on fire !!!
LOL.
so close to 10 lol
Good 2nd Question. Loved it.
Now we know he knew expectations and he knew they were getting out of hand, then why didn't they speak up.
I'm surprised to see Vic Alboini (Jaguar) still involved. I guess he saw more value than he let on, or just wasn't willing to bail at a loss.
I don't suppose Thorsten's answer to his questions satisfied him much.

Frank and his team did an outstanding job.
Could someone paraphrase the Jaguar question and answer?
Very very short paraphrase:
Q. Can you give us any info about possible results from the strategic review?
A. No.
Posted via CB10
Is BB going to split up into separate divisions (Aka. Handsets, Services, Etc.)
Answer: No, My team is working on what they are supposed to be working on. Still transitioning.
I'd heard a rumour about possible additional layoffs, but Thorsten just emphasized he wants to protect jobs. I hope the rumour was false.
Edit: this was later posted in the I Support BBRY thread: http://blogs.wsj.com/digits/2013/07/.../?mod=yahoo_hs
Edit 2: my "hope" above was because I don't like the optics of a CEO's words so quickly being seen as hollow. If this rumour proves true, how does it look when the CEO publicly said in the AGM today that he wants to protect jobs. Sigh.

I'm glad we have retail investors asking questions!
Losing a few may save more overall, many companies have to do this. They may still be very bloated, especially with the recent death of the PlayBook and any staff working on that product. Since everything is moving away from Air, they may have excess personnel. While I hate to see anyone lose their job, from a business stand point it may be necessary.
If approaching breakeven means a 13 cent loss, then how big of a loss does he expect for q2?
Hopefully someone calls him out for not speaking clearly
