    More good news.

BTW, unless things have changed, Tim's issues BlackBerry's to corporate staff as well. My Mrs was a Director there (until very recently) and had a 9900.
The large US/Can company she went to also issue BlackBerry's (non optional). She got another 9900 when she started in Dec.

While I'm reluctant to play the nationalistic card, it's still nice to see Canadian companies supporting BBerry.

Simply put, there is no alternative. I work for a bank, and iPhone failed its security requirements. BB10 passed. Simple as that.

Maybe because Canadians companies are expected to support BB 10? Not to mention tech news sites and blogs are more American-centric

Did BlackBerry provide any guidance on when BES10 SP1 will be released?

What were the reasons for the iPhone failing? Not suggesting that there aren't strengths and weaknesses. Just interested in more specifics.

No clue. I don't work in IT, but connected to someone who does since I was on the playbook pilot project. that person told me that it did not meet their requirements. I didn't really ask why.

That is correct. We don't just automatically get new hardware at the two year eligibility term. We still have to justify the purchase.
I'm still holding on to a tattered Torch 9800 waiting for BB10 devices to be available. They are still replacing dead devices with the 9900.
