Highly unlikely. I believe this news was out on Monday of last week, as indicated in the article. The price finished down 7+% on the week.

I'm of the opinion that this price will surge once the big boys come out to play. We are but small fish in the world's oceans.

BlackBerry need institutional investors... those are the one that keeps stock price stable. With many institutional investors, stock price will be much more immune to "Unverified" negative press. But it will take a few quarters of growth to get those investors back.

I found the same great information here Wall Street alert, it seems that the alert from brokers are spreading like wild fire. In addition, Chartists are seeing the current pullback as a consolidation instead of a new trend down. A just bought a Z10 i'm really surprised with their features. With a huge short interest, it's normal that some analysts are trying to push the stock down, to cover its positions at cheap prices.

I still Bullish on BBRY !! This stock is gonna fly !!

I read this morning that institutional investors held about 60% of the stock, and insiders about 15%. Seems like it's already got a pretty large institutional base, if those numbers are correct.

Also note that something like 34% (? at last count) of the shares were shorted, meaning at least some of those institutional and insider investors have actually allowed their shares to be loaned out.
