Actual Link: BlackBerry 10.3 iOS-like Control Center Menu Concept Looks Useful - N4BB

We’ve just been sent this beauty of an image. This screen capture showcases a concept for an iOS-like Control Center menu for BlackBerry 10.3.

BlackBerry is already making changes to the current drop-down menu with the addition of customizable quick settings in BlackBerry OS 10.2.1, which is expected to begin rolling out on January 28th.
There have been whispers that BlackBerry would continue to enhance the UI of BlackBerry 10 in the 10.3 update. Would you like to see BlackBerry revamp the current drop-down menu into a ‘Control Center’ like the above concept image?
BlackBerry 10.3 is expected to release sometime by October 2014. Let us know in the comments if a change like this would make you more productive with BlackBerry 10.

Appears to have been a repost of a mockup. Thanks Howarmat.

    That is so Android.
One thing I love is to have the notifications in the Hub, but if the notifications will be in there, then no more Hub? or what is the use to have notifications in there and the Hub?.

If 10.3 will really be like that, I will stick with 10.2.X and never update.

Yup, I dont really understand why are there two (three) locations with notifications - Hub, swipe up gesture and one in drawer. Guess, more notifications locations, better

I'd rather have the Audio Media controls on the Lock Screen.

Man when this was originally posted in the forums a few days ago it was bashed by everyone that it was too android-y... now it's "iOS" and "a thing of beauty".

We're becoming like the insecure young sibling guided by nothing but their (often unwarranted) jealousy of their older siblings' "awesome [girl/car/grades/life/...]"

    Let BlackBerry be BlackBerry.

Well, I hope this is a joke. No, I don't want an iOS or Andriod control center menu, if I did I would have an Andriod or iPhone. Good job on being creative and unique... I hope this is a fan concept, if it's from BlackBerry they have failed greatly.

Yah, I could take it or leave it. Depends on "what else" comes with it.

Sorry. I really have to read the forums more before spreading N4BB "news". Sorry for wasting everyones time with a repost by the looks of it.

i prefer the actual one. it gives you the option to turn on/off or configure.

the message center makes no sense to me. the swipe up and swipe up to the right movements inform me better.

Posted this elsewhere also but what if the drop down menu had right or left options and these were a sort of "system widget" such as calendar (playbook style), weather and media controls on another page. Tapping it opens the full app.

I don't understand the separate line for turning off/on for the mobile network. Why is it not just one of the quick setting buttons.

The "notification" section is just useless. Defeats the purpose of the "peek" feature of bb10. Just like why did BlackBerry add icons for "phone" "search" and "camera" when they are at the bottom of the screen. And add the "hub" icon when you just use a gesture to get to it.

The quick media is useful. I'd like to have the media player always shown on the lock screen when something is playing.
