I used to have AMD years ago made good profit and was looking to get it again at 1.80 but it ran up. I had trigger on after hours price of 3.12 after ER and didn't pull it. Sigh

I'm not sure AMD will go back down below a range of 3.5 - 3.7 at this point unless the entire market tanks...they've got lots of things lined up nicely and there's lots of upside to come, imo.

They were up again this morning and it looks like the last completed trade was around 11am and now (~3pm) there are 500 to 1000 bid/ask trades in queue.

Still long. I didn't hit the sell button yet because I think there is still some room to run on this one. And... I traded in and out of this a lot during 2014. In the end all I really did was raise my average price. :-(

I am in the same position as you. I am usually long with my trades but with this type of company I am happy to get out when I'm satisfied with the gains. I did not expect the CAD to rise as it has in the last couple months. My HALO gains are in the red due to the exchange as well.

I think the "plan" is just to get an extention to regain compliance with Nasdaq. They really only have to say they are looking for a partner and they'll probably get a 180 day extention. They are however presenting tomorrow at the Bloom Burton And Co. Healthcare Investor conference. Details for the webcast.... Sophiris Bio Inc. - Events & Presentations . Hopefully they may find a dance partner there. Certainly can't hurt, all big pharma will most likely be there.

I've read the release several times. It looks like it's the same data they already released last November regarding the phase 3 trial. It is however being presented at a Urologists event. Nice to see the stock up though.
