I gotta admit that I didn't see that coming. I still think there'll be a major pullback before the week is out. Though I'm blown away how quickly it went through 13.

If we're lucky, RIM will have a $0 net income or +$1m net income. Q1 was bad, Q2 was not as bad, so here's hoping Q3 is better than expected!

I am looking at RIM's financials (haha, look at me, trying to learn and do research AFTER buying shares, not before!), which line item represents their expenses (salary expenses)? I know they laid off a bunch of people earlier in the year so I wanted to see how much reduction effect it had on their salary-expenses.

Last Quarter report : "we're half way of restructuring" (approx. quote). If I count well, this should be almost over. So, minor the billion salaries annual expenses with the restructuring costs ($300-500 M ?) and you'll have the net gain for first year (i.e in approx. 6 months from now) ... Sorry for being that much approximative; it's late here.

I think some of you are not understanding the market is FORWARD looking about six months ahead. The market has already factored in poor earnings a long time ago. Look at last Q The market was expecting RIM to lose money and when RIM lost less money then expected the SP jumped since the market Already priced in bad earnings but RIM beat those bad earnings. Right now the market has already expected and factored BAD earnings into the SP already. If RIM losses more then the already expected bad earnings then yes RIM could go down at earnings. Considering RIM hasn't warned yet is positive but you never know. IMO RIMM is grossly undervalued and still under book value.

Gonna hit $14 today maybe? I'm sure the news of ICE reviewing their stance will have a positive effect.

Damn, this is driving me nuts. I'm waiting for a dip to buy a block of shares, is it gonna happen? LOL. Pretty sure this kind of rally will have to go into correction territory. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
