But yesterday's volume is almost three times the daily approved limit for the buyback. So, maybe there was more to it than the buyback program. Someone could have just found an 8 Million dollar lying around and decided to invest in BBRY, randomly, right at market close.

Everyone thinks today's price is super cheap, they don't think it is cheap enough to merit a purchase and apparently there is no rush to gobble up stock even at these prices. Now, they think it's fine to offer 12.5 MM more shares at this price which is a a total move of 43.5 MM shares in the wrong direction. This kind of perception is not good, you say one thing and do another. Time will tell but the message to me is that BB isn't growing anytime soon and thus there is no hurry to follow through on a "timely" investment for the foreseeable future (how many quarters of this can we expect?).

So let's move away from being on a downer and look at the weekly chart:



Using the 3-minute chart you can see when we are immediately reversing a trend, the daily needs to be confirmed when it sees a trend change and it's a slow indicator. The weekly is one of those that clearly points you in the direction of the next move even though you lose some profit by waiting for it to confirm.

Our weekly chart is showing us that $ 9.22/shr is the turning point for BBRY. We touched it today and we have one more day to break through to the upside. Whether it happens this week or next, doesn't matter, it looks like we are about to head higher, finally. As much as I would hope that BB would buy back a ton of stock at $ 9.00/shr, they didn't, as long as we can get back to a reasonable valuation, I don't care. If Conor Mcgregor were in charge of PR for BB we would be at $ 1,000.00/shr by now and have offended most races along the way. Could we not get someone in PR that could do a better job of selling BB to the world? Probably could but this stock belongs in the $ 11.00/shr area with the NAS where it is today.

Let's see if BBRY can take out $ 9.22/shr on it's way to filling a gap just below the 50-dma.

No, not at all, I stopped buying the stock as it lost its uptrend/support levels. I'm under water in 30,000 purchased on the drop so far, average about $ 9.70/shr on those shares but my overall average is way down there. I won't sell a share until at least $ 15.00 and then we'll look at the performance of BlackBerry as a company to decide if we sell, hold or buy more. I can live with this investment forever, no need to sell.

That was one bad ER, we haven't heard of anything positive for this Q so it might be another rough day in September. I'll hold as long as I see them moving forward from here, time isn't a problem so much as execution of the business model. I'm not a cheerleader of Chen, I'll praise him when he does something good and point out where we don't agree. On the plus side, we are turning bullish again here, the stock is doing very well with TD Bank only buying 100,000 shares so far today across Canada. We can dream of BB buying shares at the rate of 1.4 MM per day and what that would have done to our investment but they decided against buying any so far. When the stock gets above $ 10.50/shr I'll believe that this wasn't orchestrated by someone! Good luck.

Well... at least we are extremely profitable for such a tiny company nowadays... 671 million in Q1 and this quarter we should be again doing pretty well with that fair value adjustment for the debentures since we're under 10 dollars. Anyone here making investment decisions using P/E ratios? LOL
