Ya... the Canadian dollar has been on the rise this week. Kind of screws us in instances like this.
The way I look at it, it's good that the Canadian $ is doing what it is doing NOW.
We want it to be down/low when we are ready to SELL.

If we are buying on TSX, it's actually a good thing.

I'm not an accountant but what I know is that the rebate is received in full in a single cheque.
Yes, that is what I said. BUT you can make an accrual each month or quarter and book it quarterly. Doesn't matter when you get the cheque.

We've been mixing oranges with carrots lately. That we must not do again. Bandwidth consumption is NOT Device volume, we must refrain the comparison, IMHO.

You're right, it's not the same, but these variable have strong causal correlation.

Not IMHO. You have to correlate Internet usage and devices volumes ... Let's say BB10 devices are not properly redirected by sites scripts (while they can be detected with the user agent string) where traffic is measured and there you go ... mobile for others, full version for BB10. Ratio can be as huge as 1 to 5 ... So, we must stay VERY cautious with this. What is interesting though is to notice it's growing. Nothing more as a fact, unfortunately.

EDIT: and if one day we see traffic down while sales up ... you'll know that web devs have incorporated BB10 as a serious player ... remind it for later

Above is a quote from OMA'a site....I see BB's NOC as the way forward, who else can offer a secure real time world wide network? I hope this is where they are going anyway...this would replace the BIS revenue 100 fold in a decade.

Yup, most probably the usage they intend to promote with the NOC. Remember : nowhere we can read that, while BIS is slowly shut down, BB has started anything like dismantling their Network architecture ... though it could be precious $$ savings ... tic-tac... the puzzle ...

It would be an interesting play when you think about it, MS EAS combined with 10.1...that would be by far the largest MDM duopoly in the industry. Someone call TH and tell him to get on this already!

I can't imagine bbry is that stupid.

And no official specs have been announced.
