Meh I watched the commercial and they just put on Samsung on the end. No biggie. If they sold 50 million. Phones so far then 49 million arent getting it. Gimmicks to try to help sales.

I was thinking.. even if we do post BIG profit and beat Street estimates (like we did last time, Street was estimating loss, and we posted profit) - is Stock price really going to move up? It moved down last time despite resounding beat of Street estimates!

Eventually we have to go up and given the huge short interest, if we post huge numbers it's going to get some attention. No debt, adding cash, and undervalued should mean up for a company that's showing profit gains 3 straight quarters. Multiple will be way too low.

1 great thing about Wall Street is that they just base their thinking on stuff like this. "Ooo the Iphone sold alot, The Iphone 4 sold even more. So the Iphone 5 must sell like crazy." Then when the stock drops they figure they are getting good value when they haven't realized that those numbers don't always keep going up. Apple was trading at $700 when iPhone 5 came out but at that time you could feel that the momentum was shifting. When Samsung put out that commercial making fun of iPhone users it did a great job. Right then is when Wall Street should have taken notice but they just look at their numbers which is fine.

Now your seeing it with Samsung as well. They had a MUST HAVE phone that sold well. But after the S4 reveal the feelings were mixed. Yet investors had no problem buying their stock. You have to understand because the S3 was great the S4 will make sales. But with a mixed reaction there is no way they were going to reach their sales goals.

Anyways the good thing for Blackberry is all expectations are low. So thankfully it should be easier to beat.

YES some of us really believe in Blackberry but pretty much all believe with proper reality.

Order visibility from BlackBerry has been extended to 2-3 quarters compared to a mere one quarter previously as the Canada-based smartphone vendor plans to release 3-4 new models in the second half of 2013, according to sources in BlackBerry's supply chain in Taiwan.

BlackBerry's first entry-level BlackBerry 10 model, the BlackBerry Q5, is expected to be launched in July, targeting the entry-level segment in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East and Latin America, indicated the sources.

Shipments of BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry Q10 have been maintaining at one million units a month recently, helping BlackBerry to maintain its market share, reveled the sources.

The launch of BlackBerry Q5, which will come with a 3.1-inch touchscreen, dual-core processor and a QWERTY keyboard, will further ramp up shipment momentum for BlackBerry, said the sources.

BlackBerry's major ODM and component suppliers in Taiwan, including Wistron, Silitech Technology and Ichia Technologies, will all benefit from rising shipment volumes at BlackBerry, the sources indicated.

Wistron reportedly has landed orders for two entry-level models from BlackBerry, said the sources, adding that the ODM is expected to snap up 60% of smartphone orders to be released by BlackBerry in 2013.
