Just to put this rather romantic myth to bed, I'll explain to the best of my knowledge...
Bla1ze is full time for CrackBerry. Michelle might be full time and I believe for MoNa. James Falconer is full time for MoNa. James Nieves is contracted for several MoNa sites. All the rest of us, including Ant and I, get paid just as much as you do, though the thought of making this a full time paid job would be awesome. I'm not sure Bla1ze could afford us. :rotfl:
If the CB10 app would permit me to like your post, I would! :) thanks

That's because it too, in the end was being developed using volunteers.
Generally the type of people needing info on AtHoc or WatchDox and those boring software solutions... they want that info to come from BlackBerry and not some 3rd party site where info is outdated or somethings wrong. Because most of them are paying big bucks for those "services".
I'm sure investors would like to know more about these products that are part of the valuation of BlackBerry... but in truth, CrackBerry isn't an investor site. The one guy that did provide some investment commentary for CrackBerry... well lets just say he's views (while correct) weren't appreciated by all here.
LOL, you made a big jump there! Let me just clarify that I still believe CrackBerry (and Mobile Nations) is many times larger than an average BlackBerry solution reseller.
I work for a company in the Netherlands, and together with 5 other full time colleagues on our payroll, we have about 10 million eur in annual revenue. Approx. 20 percent of that is profit. My boss' mother still makes us sandwiches for lunch, because she likes to do it and because for us it's at a minimum cost.

However, at some point my boss is going to have to decide. Will he do the necessary investments to continue to grow the company, or will he milk the cow until his retirement?

You are quite welcome dimi, and gosh darn it, you know there's a huge difference between value and revenue.
I think I'm quite valuable, but receive no revenue. :rotfl:

Interesting...
Q: Do you have any final thoughts?
Beard: It’s pretty amazing that we are here right now with money in the bank and making money but we have got a long way to go.

We need a Poll to help get Mobile Nations to pay you a stipend, or maybe we could do a Crowdfunding campaign ;)
Wonder if dimi clicked on those links and compared the stats from back five years ago to what they are now..... probably not, or he would never have posted it in the first place. Much like BlackBerry themselves, CrackBerry isn't worth what it once was (at least not based on that one site).
I'll take funding by any means necessary, if it attains my goal being a full-time interwebz rodeo clown!
It's so nice to see some TA posted to the board for those of us who trade stock. Your analysis is correct, we have hit over sold territory and now we'll base for a day or two in order to confirm lower volumes and a lack of selling down here. Here is the chart showing the repeatibility of the RSI indicator:
Attachment 418957
The indicator is flawless on the downside with a reading of RSI=30 or slightly lower signaling a bottom in the stock. On the upside, we are able to get close to a reading of RSI=70 but there are so many sellers out there that the stock never achieves its potential technical target before it gets knocked down. A close above $ 6.80/shr would indicate that we are likely to go right back up from here to around $ 7.35/shr minus any news which trumps TA. The general market is holding up surprisingly well and looks to go higher in the days ahead so we could be rallying into earnings this month.
I sold a large block of the stock at $ 7.47/shr and I bought it all back plus 10% more at $ 6.76/shr. The point is, you can make plenty of money trading BBRY while you wait for news. Let's see if we can breakout of that well defined downward channel of the past couple of weeks. It appears that the volumes needed to indicate an exhaustion in the selling are here today and so a more realistic trend change to the upside can be expected at this point. GL
Duh, of course Crackberry isn't worth the same.
Along with BlackBerry's problems and transition to software, priorities have shifted towards selling Cisco certificates, project management certification trainings, 200-hour network security training bundles and hacker certification packages.
But rest assured, MobileNations is doing really well reaching more than 500 million consumers each year.
Why not use some of that success to inform consumers about security and privacy today, on a BlackBerry fan site, for future success perhaps?

What does it mean that BBRY seems oversold when the overall market, including tech, seems overbought? Is BBRY is a contrarian stock or it likely to go down further when the market inevitably corrects.
Chinese smartphone companies to meet global demand
TCL Communications, BlackBerry’s exclusive manufacturing partner, sets another example of Chinese smartphone vendors that are exploring new ways to strengthen overseas market share.
Alain Lejeune, TCL’s senior vice-president and head of the BlackBerry business division, told chinadaily.com.cn the newly launched BlackBerry KEYone is designed by TCL’s Ningbo R&D centre and the security system, which is always highlighted as a selling point for the brand, is operated by BlackBerry’s Canadian team.
Lejeune said the uniquely designed physical “qwerty” keyboard will meet the demand of 25 per cent of potential smartphone consumers.
Statistics from the consulting company IH Technology show that with 34 million units shipped around the globe, TCL was seventh on the top 10 list of China’s smartphone vendors by shipment volume.

BlackBerry Aurora to officially launch in Indonesia March 9

BBRY is just one of 1,000's of stocks that didn't rally post the election. Few stocks really made any gains and they were large cap stocks (financials/tech/energy etc.) that Funds can move into. There are a whole pile of stocks that will move on the next leg up, mid-size, small cap and then micro-cap in that order. The major indexes have worked off their over-bought status today, like the DOW, it has to/will close the gap made last week down to 20,851 and then move sideways for 2 - 3 weeks to work off the gains. This doesn't mean that mid-tier stocks can't rally while the large caps are being sold off. In fact, money flows to value and so some profit-taking is good for the market as a whole.
BBRY is just now over-sold, it is just below its RSI=30 level and at the bottom of the Bollinger Bands and it trades 100% on technical influences as there is no news to offset that force. And so the large cap sector is moving sideways for 2 - 3 weeks and BBRY has the chance to move higher just because it is oversold and earnings (news) is around the corner. You and I know about BBRY but the rest of the world could care less about this tiny company. It isn't on the radar until they release some life changing news. If you aren't expecting news then just trade on the TA influence for now until some news approaches.
BlackBerry Ltd.’s QNX automotive software, used in more than 60 million cars, was listed as a potential target for the Central Intelligence Agency to hack, according to documents released by WikiLeaks.
CIA meeting notes mention QNX as one of several “potential mission areas” for the organization’s Embedded Devices Branch. The same branch also worked with U.K. spy agencies to develop tools to break into Apple iPhones, Google’s Android system and Samsung smart TVs, according to some of the 8,761 documents WikiLeaks posted Tuesday.
The meeting notes that mention QNX, dated Oct. 23, 2014, said the company hadn’t yet been “addressed” by the branch’s work. The documents don’t say if the CIA ever moved forward with QNX as a hacking target.
