Have a nice day gang !
Did anything happen this week?
If you were away for this week of trading, you would think the markets were closed! We are dead even on the week. Crazy.
Maybe not. AAPL reports on the 27th of the month. Should be a blow out quarter with the iPhone 6 release. All that news built in would preclude a big jump in share price, so.....bring the share price down pre-earnings and then everyone can go nuts when AAPL shares rise 12-15% on the amazing quarterly results and take the share price right back to where it was two months ago.:straight-face:
All these emotions !!
:cant-watch:

Midday holding green, nice
"Data" the new Greed
Loving this market movement today. Been dealing with a co worker this week that's been after my job because I threaten his standing as #1 in the district . So making some big green on the market always makes everything seem ok.

Henry the "nitch"! Henry, you DB, it's "niche"!
Obviously Henry Blodget is SHORT sighted !!
The "expert" I guess you meant the HATER, He doesn't have any point to support his argument of they are "toast". hearing these kind of comments makes me wanna puke.
Sorry I had to get it out!
I'm not complaining, but has any one else noticed that there seems to be a conspicuous absence of the usual high volume negative posters through out all the threads today.

Rehash, mostly, of what has already been said over the last 48 hours:
?I?ll believe it when I see it': BlackBerry Ltd denies getting US$7.5B takeover offer from Samsung | Financial Post
“I’ll believe it when I see it,” said Barry Schwartz, vice-president and chief investment officer with Baskin Wealth Management. “This is not the first time we have heard these types of rumours.”
[...]
Greg Taylor, vice-president and equities portfolio manager with Aurion Capital, said he sold his shares in BlackBerry years ago and finds the company’s current business focus “tough to get excited about.” However, he said his advice to the company would be to wait and see what the results of its turnaround strategy are.
“The company’s in no risk of going bankrupt. They’ve got enough cash. So there seems to be no urgency,” Mr. Taylor said. “I definitely think, under some circumstances, the company is for sale or would be interested in an offer, but I think it’s probably at a higher price than this.”

BlackBerry: Icahn Buying In Is Rumor du Jour - Tech Trader Daily - Barrons.com
https://twitter.com/Carl_C_IcahnShares of BlackBerry (BBRY) are up 14 cents, or 1.4%, at $10.25, as a rumor has been making the rounds on trading desks that activist investor Carl Icahn is buying in.
As the Briefing.com folks advise, “Both BBRY and Mr. Icahn are very popular rumors so we would view this cautiously.”
Nothing has shown up on Icahn’s Twitter feed, I would note.
"Chairman of Icahn Enterprises L.P.; etc., etc. Some people get rich studying artificial intelligence. Me, I make money studying natural stupidity."
