Watching CrackBerry Kevin liveblogging on iMore makes me somehow sad.
don't be georg, that's his job as Ren is at the event.
definitely a non-event..............
Two Phones- big and bigger, with NFC
Two Watches- small and smaller, with inductive charging. iPhone is required with the iWatch.
(Isn't that what BB tried with the Playbook....?)

I hear they found their inspiration for Apple Watch in the once famous Tamagotchi.
Man. You forgot the new HORRIZONTAL screen!
I found this to me more exciting than anything Apple "innovated" today.

Can't help, the clock looks like a gimmick. Will not improve productivity very much imho. The big rounded edges don't look elegant at all. At the end of the day, most people will remove this clunky thing from the wrist.
There was only consumer stuff in this presentation. The bigger iPhone will improve productivity, but thats it. That's good for BlackBerry. The Passport has true innovations.
Buying opportunity for Bbry stock right now....

Commenters thoughts from Globe and Fail article on Apple announcements today.
"Apple is one of the greatest marketing and branding companies in the world.
They know that the product is completely unimportant when compared to the hype.
How can you not appreciate a company that can
1: get people to pay up to a 50% margin when the industry is at 10-15%, and line up to do it.
2: sell a phone that is always a year to two out of date, but actually successfully claim it's cutting edge.
3: successfully copy hundreds of advancements and market them as their own "innovation"
4: Create such loyalty in their consumers that they become their biggest advocates.
5: They have successfully made a Chinese made phone into a status symbol.
The i stands for id!ot, and Apple proves there is one born every minute.
AAPL 99.08 +.59 BBRY 10.26 +.07 would have made a few bucks with Morgan's trade :)
wonder how much stock apple have to buy today? to keep it up.
edit. and its dropping fast
didn't they invent that!!
Like I said, the two new iPhones, are dud in the sense that they've played catch up with all of their new features. The bigger screen was much needed and it's about time. Many people aren't too sold on the looks, but I really dig the black variant.
The Apple Watch, honestly, I was impressed right until he mentioned needing an iPhone to use one - this is the sole purpose of why the smartwatch is a fad. I like how they focus on user interaction which is what Apple is all about. Although it's argued just how well their user interaction really is.
It's not too smart if it requires another device to function 100%
Days like this make me proud of BlackBerry and the assets it has. So much potential, very under-looked and undervalued. The smart money is on BBRY.

And now APPL is down. BBRY and BB is the only stock that's green on my list

So they went with apple watch instead of iWatch.
I guess they had to because of the NFC payment service. Marketing must have thought iPay might get people thinking....

BlackBerry Passport Rocks Tons of Apps Via the Amazon Appstore | Inside BlackBerry
There must be more (a true bigger picture) to unveil September 24th if these articles are making it to their blog? Imagine Apple?! They'd come up with 2 hours of buzzwords and BlackBerry has pretty much shared everything about the Passport, except Blend.
I noticed with nokia store i didnt have to register for free apps anyways.

Matthew should have done some homework. Triathlete Magazine was updated a few times and then stopped posting. Last post was in January. Too many dead channels.
How many if the other cited channels are in similar shape?
