Bags, if I sold near the top and re bought in at the bottom I would have made 1k. If I sell now I would be down 9k. I could make that back by playing the 20% drop/rise 40 time but that is a lot of trades. Guess ill keep holding long

Well I have a problem with it. Apparently it's 60%. It's also 60% in Nigeria which is by far the largest, by pop, country in Africa.:straight-face:
The death resulting from this happened back in mid-July though, so not new or relevant information to this thread.
We all know what the title of this thread is...this issue has absolutely nothing to do with supporting BBRY so please stop.
Decent run up EOD.
Eh? Did you not see the plunge...?! :-)
Are you referring to the 0.5 cent AH!

As I was saying......oh well, break even for the day is close enough considering where we rebounded from. I'll to it :p

No.
He's referring to AAPL..... plunged .89% !!!
:)
Ok gang, who dropped the ball and let the SP slip some?? Hopefully we can get back up there tomorrow and work towards mid 9s. Yep, I'm still optimistic but do tend to get a bit impatient so hurry the heck up!! lol :)
Slip some? lol.... a whole penny... I actually thought it was going to close down more. I think it held up quite nicely.
Yeah, not a bad day all-in-all. We'll get there, we just need some more official news to help us out some.
Today is the second day of uptrend. 24 million in volume, and it closed at $9.57--just one cent below yesterday closing price. I think, we are still in a retracement. Last Friday, I mentioned that we may have about two or three red candles this week. They are for the retracement periods.
Bullish interpretation:
Although $9.49 support was broken, it bounced off $9.41 to $9.57 as the 5 minute chart shows. The time frame for this uptrend is quite long, unless, there is another 50 million volume rally again this week. I have not recognized any major pattern to establish yet, but another possibility other than the upward slant sine wave (we would need to reach $9.95 and up), and the cup (less likely), is a bull flag (the two black arrows on the daily chart), which means that the retracement period could be as long as several days, until next week. Also, perhaps, we might get new upgraded ratings as we get closer to September ER. It would be really nice to see a break out above the current $11.49 MA 50.
Bearish interpretation:
In the shorter term, related to retracement periods, bears would be looking to break the support levels to make lower low. Unless, there is a really bad news about Blackberry, the possibility for the stock to go into downtrend again for the long term (2 months) is lower, than the uptrend. Nevertheless, the daily chart is a bit confusing to interpret for me, because based on RSI and MACD, we still have more room for upside, but stoch. RSI (even though it hasn't curved downward yet) is at max, and will cycle down eventually. The question is, how low will the SP be, when it cycles down. It needs a big sell-off to send this stock to a downtrend again.

Math Advance Suggest RSA Encryption Could Fall Within 5 Years - Slashdot
Unfortunately, (for American Companies) key patents for implementing elliptic curve cryptography are controlled by BlackBerry..."The two encryption systems used to secure the most important connections and digital files could become useless within years, reports MIT Technology Review, due to progress towards solving the discrete logarithm problem. Both RSA and Diffie-Hellman encryption rely on there being no efficient algorithm for that problem, but French math professor Antoine Joux has published two papers in the last six months that suggest one could soon be found. Security researchers that noticed Joux's work recommend companies large and small begin planning to move to elliptic curve cryptography, something the NSA has said is best practice for years. Unfortunately, key patents for implementing elliptic curve cryptography are controlled by BlackBerry."
Baaaaaaaaam!
I'm liking that, alot!
Love It!!

Was just about to post the Cryptography news. OK, that's a nice patent to have. How much longer is it good for?
