I don't care about your haircut ;) .. the question is, did you bring your cowbell?! lol...
I'm a more confident investor today. Glad they provided some info on the whole plan with the 3 phases.
If he's got nothing important to say the just go straight to the q & a, how many people actually care about hypothetical car software sales?
Vic looks like more of a weasel in person than I thought.

Can't wait to learn the details... we're up 3.8% now, so something must be striking a chord..
So am I. Really happy with my investment decision.
And that's the key, investment. If you believe in the plan, the future, this is it. If you wanna trade, short the stock or pick another company.
Which plan are we supposed to be believing in again?

Blackberry still alive, who would have thought???
The one he laid out today. Same he's been talking about.
I'm pleased to see that the stock price has held, so far, throughout the meeting.

Loving the questions from retail investors.
Rallying of the troops! Thor I think has rallied the longs and refocused our vision on the long-term game plan. An update of where we with regards to the turn around.
This stock will be a slow riser for a long while I think, but we ain't going no where.
Cheers to Thor, he handled the AGM well IMO.
Credit where credit is due, TH did well today. Seems he is more comfortable with shareholders than bunch of wall street analysts.! I agreed that I do feel more confident today as well. Quote " we are not just a handset company " those wallstreets need to get that concept in their head.
Interesting enough this came up while i was uploading tones of videos i took with my little one, and i couldnt find a decent comparison as far as services provided by youtube. BBM/BBM Channels will give just that.
Yes a good performance from Thor today, compared to the horrible CC he sounds like a completely different guy
Well I am happy with what I heard today from TH. Not that I ever doubted him, but it's given me enough confidence to average down and double up on some cheap shares.
long and strong.
Guys. This AGM simply beat my strongest expectations. Things were clear, plan detailed (phase 2 is now) and strategy told in "10 yo language".
The plan is still here and the "only safe mobile computing platform" ...
Yes, I'm dancing. I see no reason we won't come back to the $14s in a few (weeks !).
P.S: For those who couldn't see them, I've screenshooted the templates in the AGM thread : http://forums.crackberry.com/bbry-f3...thread-826836/
And finally, no "Thor effect" on stock with a serious raise ... these guys are improving their skills. Kudos to Boulben.
TH did a much better job today than he did at the Launch or at the Quarterly Report.
That said... was there really anything positive about the investor call?
Any new devices?
Any new services?
Any more information on how BBM will make the company profits?
Any info on how the Q10 is being received?
Any info on what the profits from their Automotive / QNX division are?
We did learn that Carriers are their partner, and that updates will continue through them... which isn't really good.
We did learn that the US market is very difficult... but not how BB plans to win it over.
A lot of talk about managing expectation for the future is not really positive in my book.
Keep in mind that this is always the tone of AGM - providing outlook and guidance, and managing expectations for the coming year. It's never been a platform for major announcements, I would expect those to be done completely separately and via press releases.
My only disappointment was that they did not provide any *clear* guidance as to what they plan to do to accomplish their mobile computing vision.
These two statements you make are probably the most profound for me in terms of why this was a successful AGM. I personally always believed that Blackberry had a strong plan and direction but where they have been failing miserably is properly presenting that and using that to change the perception of the company. Seeing todays presentation (online, wasn't able to fly out for the AGM) gave me enough confidence to believe that things aren't over yet and that we are still alive.
TH is a great CEO and has a great vision - he always just lacked the presentation skills to convey that, which despite common belief is not a rare combination of skills. Steve Jobs was a freak of nature when it came to this because both came naturally to him - which is why I hate it when people say "we need a Steve Jobs" type CEO.
Apparently he did!
