Edit: BB10 side loading tool failed to install this update. so used DDPB tool and it installed the update properly. just fill in your phone ip address where it asks for playbook ip address in DDPB along with phone password.

When I was on iOS only a year ago, I downloaded and tried all the travel Apps I could find. I was happy with one of them, but it is not even close to being as good as BlackBerry Travel. I now have forgotten how to travel without BlackBerry Travel. I rely on it for everything from flight information, gate changes, hotel information, car rental information, navigation to hotel and airport, climate of destination, and even the people that I know locally.

I hate it as much as I hate my GPS system, because I have lost the ability to function without them. LOL

It is crazy good. I'm sure some of you saw my posts from earlier this week. That app saved a lot of sanity. As did my BlackBerry stock app which kept me in touch

My Boss who I was travelling with was impressed by it as well. He has a Lumina, and asked how he can get it. I told it's easy, sell your Nokia and get a BlackBerry......

One of the hotels that I have booked for this long upcoming trip, I have an option to cancel my reservation until 6th February without any charge. This app keeps on checking if the same or similar hotel has better deal than what I got. It reminded me that there is one more hotel with same amenities available for less price. The note able thing is that it picked a hotel which has specific similar amenities and it said it in the message, it left out the rest.
I am sure this can generate income for BlackBerry. rooms selling sites getting a second kick at the cat? I am satisfied that I am getting the best deal plus I don't have to download other apps for hotel booking. according to my research (LoL) this app had the best hotel prices specially when Canadian dollar exchange rate is low.
I hope blackberry markets their assess properly.

As you may have noticed, I've been somehow away these last days. Some duty off-the-screen to achieve.
Also I was waiting for the gold release, which happened last Friday ...
