Today, DISAs mobility program supports 1,800 unclassified mobile devices including iPad 3 and 4, iPhone 4S and 5, Samsung 10.1 tablets and Samsung 3S, and Motorola RAZR devices. However, BlackBerry devices still dominate the DoD landscape, considering the mobility program supports 80,000 BlackBerry smartphones.

Pentagon to launch mobile management rollout Jan. 31 | Federal Times | federaltimes.com
This is what confuses me. From another article.

"DISA will support BlackBerry devices with the existing [Blackberry Enterprise Server]. During the transition period, DISA is not provisioning new iOS/Android users on the existing server," Pentagon spokesman Damien Pickart said in an email. "We are delaying provisioning of those devices until the [mobile device management] environment is ready in Jan 2014. We will provision new devices as rapidly as possible starting in January 2014."
Yup, I'll dig with my contacts an let you know ...
    My read of
the Pentagon is apparently looking to roll out 80,000 BlackBerry handsets to its employees starting on the 31st of January.
Is that they're replacing 80,000 devices. And if it is a whole ... should be BB10/BES10 ones (?)

Pls remove the link. There's a thread in the forum about it and - while I'm still waiting for "authorized answer" - sounds like crap.

Done...however I chose to look at it as a positive, not a twisted negative like the G&M.

Thanks, we have a large number of visitors here ... most would just copy/paste that link without further thoughts.

As I didn't mean to censor it right away, I'll give the forum link, where some explanation work have been made : http://forums.crackberry.com/general...ckdoor-894344/

    Thanks and sorry altogether

Since the QNX Neutrino kernel is powering the Cisco switches that allow the NSA surveillance to work in the first place, someone could make the additional argument that BBRY is responsible for that too.

While we're at it, why not blame BBRY for the market crash of '08?

If we look closely enough, we could probably pin a few wars on them as well.

I don't want a short squeeze. Because it'll be - again - an artificial valuation of the company and $BBRY will return to volatility and gamble.
Let's get back to the fair book value ($12-16 Billions ?) valuation for now and add some prospective valuation as things goes (hopefully, well ) afterwards.
$BBRY stock must reflect company value and performance, not "drive" the performance ... as it has been for years now.
Why would it be artificial valuation, when all these short sellers have had an impact on the market when they sold short? You would think that we have gone full circle of impacting the market value only by the time they have covered their positions, which they absolutely have to do at one point or another.

Never been a fan of the markets allowing shorting, as the shorting in itself is really the artificial changing of what "offer and demand " balance is, which is really at the.basis of all economics. When you decide not to buy, you affect the price. When you decide not to buy, and artificially inflate the offer by shorting, you compound the effect. That is why I am not a fan of the tool.

I still remember that 16~17% increases in TO exchange twice when the US market were closed and Canada market were open.
Let us see whether the history can repeat these.
