OK so I saw this article in information week about the DOD and BYOD that I thought would be interesting. Basically it sounds very encouraging for BES10. Then I followed the link in the article to the GSA approved vendors list for MDM expecting to see BlackBerry at the top of the list. Wrong. Not even there? What's up with that.

What a garbage article from the WSJ. The author is a keyboard lover yet calls BB10 "subpar software" and says BB10 has "far fewer apps than the competition." She also states that "even longtime BlackBerry fans understand it (the Q10) isn't a good choice. You would think that these journalists who are solely dedicated to technology would know better. You would think they would be aware of 10.2.1 and the progress BB10 has made. Most of the reviews of the Typo keyboard make it seem like BlackBerry is not even a viable option because their phones are so behind the times.

Just seen BlackBerry as a top pick on bnn. The guest speaker said that's your basically talking to the nsa if you use a iPhone lol. Says security will be the next big thing and BlackBerry as a software company is primed for a turn around. He says his outlook on the stock is 3-5 years out.

Of course the writer needed to put the term "struggling smart phone maker" in front of BlackBerry, because you know we wouldn't know who they were talking about if they just said BlackBerry....smh

I think it would be a good idea for us to start hitting the comments sections of these articles and writing 'booooring!' every time someone write the same old lazy stuff. No sense getting into an argument about the future of BlackBerry on those things, but some simple comments accusing the writer of being lazy and out of touch would be great. BlackBerry is dead is 'sooo last year' lol. I reckon BlackBerry fans have the resources to get a small counter movement out making fun of those who are still chanting the same old boring stuff.

C'mon Gregg.... seriously? It's not BlackBerry's risk in this venture and apparently, FoxConn feels it's a solid risk/reward move to make.

I have a genuine question. How much of minimum shares is someone allowed to buy in whatever stock exchange BBRY is involved in?

My country's laws stipulate that a buyer must buy a minimum share of 1000 units (so let's say BBRY's share is USD 9), so I'll have to fork out a minimum of 9000usd on top of whatever fees imposed.

    9000usd, yikes, that's a year's wage.

    Its a genuine question. Really.
