So, only two phones in 2014: The Foxconn model under $200 and a QUERTY model made in house for the enterprise market. That's pretty close to getting out of the hardware, good news.
It would be nice if they slipped in a BB10 tablet this year - enterprise can use secure tablets too.

But if their release schedule for new devices was...

    Year A (2014) - a high-end qwerty and a low end touch
    Year B (2015) - a high-end touch and a low end qwerty

...I'd be okay with that. Most people are on two year contracts so that would line up nicely. Just don't skimp on the high-end specs because that device will be your flag ship in its respective class for two years.

Do you think the qwerty couldn't be made by foxcon on the same outsource deal? I guess, judging from the Q10 pricing stay pretty static, that they believe they can predict sales better there and not get stuck with inventory with the qwerty model. The key issue is to not get stuck with excess inventory. Handsets have a nice margin if you make them and then sell them at full price promptly. But excess inventory that sits on shelves and then gets discounted is a killer.

Articles have to get stock photos from somewhere... sounds like BlackBerry should flood the stock photo websites with images of the Z10, Z30, and Q10, to crowd out the old photos.
Yes, good idea. But, in this case, it states "Photograph by Simon Dawson/Bloomberg"

Even if they didn't have a recent "in-house" photo of Q10 they could have googled for one.

Lazy, just lazy and crappy too.

Yes it is I just hope it holds. I remember when we would always see a pump in pre-market and then a dump when the markets opened

There's a billion dollars in share purchases held waiting at $10 because of the debenture.

If BBRY wants to avoid paying for share prices above $10, they would start making lump share repurchases now at this price level through other institutions to choke off the market.

At some point the repurchasing rate of that $1 billion dollar debenture is going to trigger short covering.

The short panic will be glorious.
