If they are still burning through a line at that clip and their last update was 10M new BBM users -- they are probably going to wait until they break 100M total (60M BB, 40M iOS/Android) before giving another "x millions" update. I'm hoping by end of Sunday we are over 100M total. Then there should be some articles about how much 100M users on BBM are worth once Channels functionality goes into iOS/Android, and if they monetize voice and video for a nominal fee / yr as 'BBM premium'.

Good to see what looks like a successful BBM relaunch. No stock movement is a little disappointing. I am still not thinking BBM will move the buyout needle/value much but it is good to have something, anything, positive out there. Thinking about selling my HALO at a hefty profit (25%) and totally gambling on some Dec BBRY calls. Not sure I am feeling that lucky though. I might as I had written the original BBRY money off only to have it partially rescued by HALO, so what was lost once, might be found again..... There is decent open interest on the Dec 9's at around .36 +/-.

I have just sold most of HALO and watching to put more into BBRY.

Maybe the whole buyout thing will just slowly fade out as BBM4ALL takes off, and 10.2 rolls out, and the Z30 becomes as popular as some people here seem to think it should be. ;-)

It seems that right now only PW, Lenovo and Cerberus could potentially make a bid for the whole co. I do not believe Lenovo would even try a full offer since it will fail anyway. Cerberus, I do not know, but since other US PE firms showed zero interest, so I would say the chance are low too.

the best outcome for BBRY longs are:

Lenovo could buy BBRY's hardware/BB10 OS units saying for ~500M, BBRY either sells the left in parts or continue as an independent co, then BBRY's stock may get some good pops like just NOK does.(which was up almost 80% since msft deal).

Or some big guy could put a bid of more than 3B on bbry's patents. If the patents are sold in less than 2B, then the total value of the company would not be much higher than PW's offer considering the hardware part is burning cash quickly.
