Just another day in the market, BBRY is taking its downgrades in stride, should be done soon. It's nice to have all of the "analysts" together once again, Misek is bearish, seems he liked software and security less than we first thought. We are getting some contract information tomorrow? Is this from the Wall Street Enquirer or is it from the Disney Channel? I put on another short position with AAPL, it hit my target first thing this morning when it filled the gap, didn't see that coming so we're in now. The rest of the market looks weak so I'm done trading today, will wait to hear whether we see BBM-X "completely" launched soon, that's the next driver. Once it is stable I'll switch a bunch of my family and friends over to it. The board looks good today too so thanks must go out to the mods here, I only placed one individual on "ignore" this morning. GL

Relax!! We have our first offer here, that's it. If you sell at $ 9.00/shr in the days ahead, you will likely miss out on the real battle for the company. If you want more money now, just write some Call Options against your stock at a $ 9.00 Strike price and take the money and run. There should be a good premium on those Calls now. Have some fun with this knowing that the company is really up for sale and that the Wall Street Enquirer missed this little bit of news AGAIN.

Where do you get the number software =3B? BBM =2B?

The real value:
cash: 2.6B (and dropping)
patent: ~2B
service: 2B (again it is hard to value here, because nobody really knows how fast the subscriber number drops)
software: 500M~1B (total rev is 60M last Q and drop 12% YOY, so again no excitement here) , I would think QNX is part of the software.
hardware: big question mark here. If bbry is bot by a PE, then it would be no value because the huge risk.

Overall, I would say BBRY still worth ~7B today, or ~$13 per share.
