Sounds unlikely but so did massive write-offs and the exit from the market...

Actually, now that I think about it, a smart flip phone paired with a dumb tablet would be interesting. Flip phone is much nicer to deal with for incoming communications, and the tablet for outgoing and browsing. The flip phone is a cross between smartphone and smartwatch concepts.

Good point... but in that case, they should just drop the price on the Q5 and not muddy the waters anymore, imo. In this day and age, the Q5 should be lowest end anyway.

BYOD trend is going to make selling prosumer devices very difficult. Most likely, BlackBerry will partner with someone to install BlackBerry security / enterprise solutions on other manufacturer's devices., similar to Samsung installing BBM on its devices.

Maybe if BlackBerry had a Balance Type app for Android and iOS - corporate email, corporate internet, few select apps, BBM.... that portion of the phone could be secured and managed by IT. And the BYOD owner could do what they wanted with the rest.

Good day everyone!

Just another day in the market, BBRY is taking its downgrades in stride, should be done soon. It's nice to have all of the "analysts" together once again, Misek is bearish, seems he liked software and security less than we first thought. We are getting some contract information tomorrow? Is this from the Wall Street Enquirer or is it from the Disney Channel? I put on another short position with AAPL, it hit my target first thing this morning when it filled the gap, didn't see that coming so we're in now. The rest of the market looks weak so I'm done trading today, will wait to hear whether we see BBM-X "completely" launched soon, that's the next driver. Once it is stable I'll switch a bunch of my family and friends over to it. The board looks good today too so thanks must go out to the mods here, I only placed one individual on "ignore" this morning. GL

Edit: Make that 2 on "ignore" didn't see the new fella!!
