And you wonder why with posts like this happening all the time. It does get really quite tiresome and theres no need to subject ourselves to insults. If this were in a public setting, anyone who entered a group and starting tossing insults would be ousted quickly yet in this arena, it's somehow supposed to tolerated. So, we'll just move away from the insults to somewhere they can't follow. A bit of a pain but far less so than having to read the diatribe on a daily basis.

Here's the thing - what do you think is worse - a few empty words with no price attached (me) or people (sadly) predicting 10.80 by the end of the week? (I mean YOU didn't predict 10.80 right?).

I have a hunch based on the wording, that this is total Active Users, so the Android sideloaders + the select regions that the iOS rollout already hit. The wording was vague, which makes me think it was intentionally vague. Regardless, 1.1M on both platforms in 8 hours is awesome, I am really excited to see what numbers they can hit with a full rollout.

I think it is clearly indicated that 1.1 million active users in 8 hours were from Android devices. See below:

Look I've got 2,000 shares of BB and that is money I borrowed from the bank against my house. Yes I'm dumb to do so, but also great risk great reward and besides there is no way I could save up that amount on my pay. Now I was looking at it this way, buy and sell once it hits $30 ( this was back in Dec). Now I'm just hopping we hit $20 in a buy out situation so I can get 40K.

We are all responsible adults here I hope. I'm tired of reading ppl bashing M+8 and other for their FREE advice. I'm planning on getting Stock For Dumbies and reading about those charts so I can follow along. But even with my limited knowledge I know that blindsided new releases such as Friday can not be predicted or forecasted in some chart. Maybe these borlerbands and graphs normally predict a fairly accurate future stock price of a Normal company... but we all know that BB is not a normal company with all the attention its been getting.

Its your money and you have to decide what you want to do with it. If you take advice and it goes against your gut, and you take it and it doesn't pan out then you are at fault not the guy giving advice. This is like playing blackjack at the casino..
Dealer has a 5 showing.. I have 12. I ask the table what do I do. Table ppl tell me that the BJ book on how to play says that once I break 11 against a dealer with 6 or less I stand. Well if I stand and dealer breaks the book was right. If I stand and dealer makes 21, well that is one that shouldn't have happened.

This is what BB stock is, a higher form of gambling. I was prepared to sell this week coming up, but got blindsided by this pre-emptive ER and the dealer got a 21 to my 12.

I'll chime in here as I meant to check up on my question before Freaky Friday hit. Is the Z30 has that same chip fine but its the software that makes the chip run better. Is that software that runs that chip in that tablet made for it? Is it some android tablet? You ever hear of a company called Alienware? You can send your gaming PC that you built yourself to them and for a price they can improve it so it runs faster and better. Why? cause they optimized all the parts and got the programs that where dragging it down out. Yes 5s has been optimized to run better with the new ios7. But my iphone 5 web browser still gets beat by my cousins Z10. I'll reserve judgment on the Z30 till its out and someone has done the same bench tests that were talking about.

Yeah I know. There is a few things I want to do and my money is tied up in BB. The way I look at it is if I can get back to the $11 range and sell, its only a $5k loss, and then dump that money into AMD and hope it hits $9/share then I make back my loss and more. Also heard that Twitter is trying to get IPO by thanksgiving and I need 5K in my trading account to be considered to be able to buy it. THAT stock I think will take off.

Honestly I don't think it will make the headlines, outside the "small" Blackberry planet this week-end is the first of the launch of IO7 + iPhone5/s/c so focus will be there.

Keep in mind that the market share of BBRY is very small around the world and very tiny on OS10.


But you are right in a way, funds and peoples that hold BBRY shares follow the cie & the Epic Launch of BBM today, so a lot of peoples IMO will sell Monday with this news in front of the ER.

It will be VERY hard for Thor to say iin ER call "BBM Launch was Over our Expectation" without smiling.


My Guess is BBRY will be in the $7.xx range for the earnings, but it's just a guess based on the past.
