Last time they did come in financially, give or take, where they said they would and they added to their FCF. This time, it's actually warranted to release this during live trading hours ahead of the ER.

You have it right, they are moving away from handsets and toward software and Enterprise just as many of us hoped they would. How this values the handset business is still up for debate but the tax credits will provide them with pleny of cash again. Too bad they couldn't have done all of this as a restructuring news release. So if you wanted BlackBerry to survive on its own and build on Enterprise you got exactly that. Have to read some more and crunch the numbers but it all seems like something many wanted them to do in the first place. I don't think they spent the projected amounts on marketing knowing this was going to go down. Need to read and think a bit more about this. The media will have fun running this "news" like we hadn't seen it coming. Phase II will be hearing from Prem, he might of requested this prior to making an offer. So $ 8.00/shr it is .................... go BBM-X!!!!

At least, this part is good: Company sees increasing penetration of BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 (BES 10) with more than 25,000 commercial and test servers installed to date, up from 19,000 in July 2013.

This says nothing about how many of these are currently running or how many are PAYING installations.

Just says that 25,000 people downloaded and installed the test server for free..... we don't know if there are 20,000 operational installations or 200.

Which I know a few people that installed several just to play around with them..... they were BESX admin that knew that their companies were not going full BES.

I don't understand how just hours before BBM goes cross platform on the leading mobile OS, the stock takes a dump and (besides pushed me into even greater losses) makes anything "blackberry" sound like roadkill. It's just too conincidental for me... it makes no sense.

I wont sell at this point. The fluck with that... I'm already out 5 figures... they'll have to pry my z10 out of my cold dead body.

Long and strong... no matter how this plays out. It will likely be the most expensive "lesson" I've ever had, so far, but I hope it's a good one.
