Lots there but judging by the coral system they've set up, it seems they were expecting more?

This board often comes down to relative performance of BBRY vs Apple. Considering there's a line for a product when pre-orders are avail says something about the demand.

Tough Job you got, I suggest giving some cleanup powers to CJ fort his thread may reduce or increase your workload. LOL.
I don't want that kind of power and responsibility. I like my somewhat biased view and want to keep it.... lol

I was commenting on the picture, not the overall demand. In that picture, it clearly looked like they were preparing for me people.

I agree these are all potential customers!

The important question is how quicly adoption takes place for BBM downloads. If i've got BBM and my buddies don't or are slow to load it, then i'll just default back to what i was using before. That's one of the reasons why whatsapp doesn't get as much love from me anymore. Everthing else is easy because they either have iMessage, Hangouts or SMS.

I think BBRY could really kill it if they were able to convince more OEM's to pre-load it like that Indian Android maker. It would be even better if there was a way to make it the default messenger so instead of potential users, they would be actual users.

Sssshhhh. Morgan, be very very quiet. Don't want to make Super spill his wine that he's bottling.
Spent all day yesterday polishing my trigger. Finally pulled it this morning. Now, I'm wearing my Halo.

Go BlackBerry! Gotta throw him off the scent.

    Thanks Morgan. I'll owe ya.

Your quote reminded me an old Joke. Bunch of people were sleeping in a row in a bomb shelter. One of the the guy pocked the gal next to him, when the girl warned him of his actions the guy said," my wife is sleeping right next to you, I just need a temporary easement through you.

I'm wondering how many days, weeks until Samsung comes out with a Gold Galaxy S4. It took them 1 day to say they too were going to 64bit.

I just can't get my head around people lined up for buying any phone.

What difference does a week or a month make?

I refer back to my previous comment of a "cult" formed in the grade schools that developed a deep farm team.

Seems like there is gonna be 6 million iGasms today.

Lots of resellers tho at higher prices online and overseas, especially for the gold one which is in short supply.

LOL! I can't get my head around the fact that many here think that we iPhone users will be knocking the doors down to get BBM.

I just can't see it when Apple messaging system works quite well.

Still hoping for a BB turnaround but today is Apple's day.

The iPhone 5S is the fastest smartphone out there, crushes all android devices.

The Z30 is running a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and it can’t even keep up.

Yep, Pretty sad. Sad that it looks like they are going to sell more in 1 day and pre-orders than BB10 devices sold in about 2 quarters. It says a lot about the sad state of the world....

To be fair, some of those people might be upgrading from dumb phones or much older iPhones, so might be a huge improvement for them. Most iPhone user will be happy with the upgrade to iOS7. Most iPhone users I know periodically come to me asking for help with their phones. The previous iterations are still too complicated for them, so they are not really looking for anything innovative. They just want something that works and perceived as cool.
My observation is that the iPhone crowd has become a group of people that don't know and don't care about technology, but that's ok.

+1000000. This is why I think BBM will have a very hard time getting any significant # of iphone users to jump ship to BBM. I hope it happens for BBRY's sake, but I have serious doubts.

Honestly it says a lot about Apple's marketing successes and, ashamedly, our BB not so successful attempts to date.
