It appears that the bears do not value the corporate development news much anymore. A perspective to consider is that they try to push the stock down first, before they miss the chance to cover under $11, expecting that a near term resolution will push the SP much higher.

Bullish interpretation:
- The main uptrend line (blue line on the daily chart) is still valid, which represents a much longer timeline.
- Is the SP on free fall, because the pink uptrend line is broken? Not necessarily, it is still possible to have a short term uptrend line based on the first gap up in 8/9/2013 (black line). And with the action today, the cup and handle pattern does not appear to be valid. It is more likely that we have a pennant. The validity of this pennant relies on either the SP closing above the pink line ($10.56) or staying above the black line ($10.26) tomorrow.

Bearish interpretation:
- The pink short term uptrend line, and 3 support lines ($10.94, $10.75, and $10.56) were broken.
- Retracement range for cup and handle pattern is broken, which exceeded 50% retracement range.
- Crossing below MA 20. The last time this happened was on 8/28 and 8/30, but managed to bounce to the top BB.

Personally, I have used this dip to average down. $13.99 from $14.29 now. It would be ideal for the SP to form a reversal candle tomorrow without breaking the pennant formation. Uptrend support for tomorrow: $10.23 - $10.26. If broken, then $10.03. If broken, then $9.78.

You know, I have a sneaking suspicion that this CPP thing has some weight after this latest off-shore bid possibility. If the only current suitors are off-shore, the Canadian Gov't may be forced in somehow in order to keep Security obligations to not only themself, but other allied countries Governments, as I am certain that a Chinese take-over of any kind would not fair well globally (not even in China)!

Hey, did you guys hear that the new Iphone also has a sphincter-scan
system that you can use instead of or in addition to the finger scan?
You can unlock your phone just by sitting down (on it). However, if
you have your thumb up your a__ when you sit down, you simultaneously
lock and unlock it which requires a hard reboot to fix it.
The ANALysts love this feature and Apple is thinking of renaming it to
the Aphone.
