Why has Blackberry hired boutique investment bank Perella Weinberg Partners to help advise? I thought Fairfax was buying Blackberry. This article just came out and moments later the share price of Blackberry dropped. What is going on? Why all the news about Fairfax buying Blackberry and now this?

I know there was some discussion about the Google news ticker for BBRY but does anyone have any idea how it works? 20 minutes ago I see an article saying BlackBerry denies any lay offs. Now that article is gone and 2 minutes ago one is posted saying BlackBerry laid off 60 workers. Why are websites reporting false news and since it's false, why are articles from 2 days ago still being posted?

They'll lump all shipments together (no sales, no info on BB10 vs BBOS....

The way I see it, it doesn't matter if they lump the devices together, as the stock will most likely still plummet if the number is less than expected. (Last = ~6.8M, vs. This [speculation] = 5.6M).
