I was really surprised by how little time Apple spent on showing off iOS7. I feel a lot of new users are going to be ticked when the update happens.

Having a good laugh reading posts about the iPhone 5C. People claiming the colours are copying the Lumina line.. does anyone not remember the original iPods coming in all sorts of colours? Silly people
I still have an ipod second generation (hand-me-down from my daughter) in lime green! I don't use it much now that I have SIRIUS XM RADIO. hahahahaha, had to throw that advert in there today!! hahahaha.

I am encouraged by today's apple news.

While not directly beneficial for bbry, it's like an anti-halo and iOS users were already the easiest to move to BlackBerry 10.

I really think Tim Cook doesn't get it.

So you think that because some are dissapointed in what Apple offered today, that they will be flocking to Blackberry?

    Really?

Apple is about profits and being a "premium" brand. As long as they can sell X # devices for Y amount of money they seem to be content. They don't want to get into the pricing war that Android's OEM are fighting among themselves. Unlike BlackBerry they have a ecosystem and user base that allows them to be much more free to set prices and determine their own fate.
Yes, but investors had hoped that the 5C would be Apple's response to low cost and especially China. The 5C doesn't solve the issue.

For a bit more the consumer can have the new Galaxy Note 3 next month, which is far better than any iPhone spec wise (IMO).

Edit: If they weren't choosing BB.

Even the Q5 looks better. And for the price, put the Q10 or Z10 next to an iPhone 5C, it's analogous to a college graduate, who interviews with a suit, and a college student, who still parties with some gimmicky T-shirt. For the record, I have an iPhone 5, and Bold 9900.

Yup, I usually recommend BlackBerry to my friends, Androids to their kids, and iPhone to their mothers.
Not that old ladies are not smart, they just can't bother with learning tricks and fixing bugs, so iPhone was most stable for them.
Now with iOS7, stability and ease of use remain to be seen.

I'm surprised about how much people are ******** about it being $549 off contract. It's $99 on contract which will be important to most people.

The prices I posted are from China. The newish, lower end, market that Apple is going to take by storm due to its lower priced 5C phone

After yesterday's big gain, I wish I could have put money on Pac Crest coming out with a negative note on BlackBerry today. In case you guys didn't see it, Wall St Cheat Sheet said Pac Crest thinks the shares have downside to $6 if privatization fails.

Six dollars??? What's the chain of events that drops us to six bucks? Privatization fails + terrible ER + massive bonfire of cash + someone leaves the entire patent portfolio on a bus in Waterloo?
