I am hating myself even more now. It wasn't that I was weak. Margin calls killed me and forced me to take the whole loss. Now I just sit here and watch and regret everything even more.
I am sorry to hear that and i know how you feel. Although no plan is fool proof but thats why i dont believe in borrowing any more even though i took the borrowing route to get here but no more.

So, since TH made a truckload today, maybe he could host our revised 'not $100' theme party at his expense due to the emotional abuse this stock has caused us?
    Agree on this one.

Nah, It'll just change to - I support Blackberry. Or we can use it as a trading sub forum . I really enjoy all you folk here. We should make a pact to ensure we open a new thread which we can all discuss things!

    Cheers

Yeah.... we had lost our cars at the end of June... found the rims yesterday....and the tires today. Still need to find the rest of the pieces before lcjr can help us put it all together!
Nice analogy. Describes my situation perfectly. A base 2013 Mustang V6 we'll say.

Three things I can say at this point in time:

    1. Thor is a great poker player
    2. BBRY does have some value, contrary to popular belief
    3. Quoting Kid Vibe, thank God for balls of steel for not selling and slowing making my money back

Hopefully this turns into a huge squeeze and you end up getting a Shelby instead.

there will be a negotiated buy out price they will pay for your shares, so if they agreed on say $17 per share you will receive that
How will in the money calls work? They wipe the time value premium out and settle them as if there was no time value left?

If out of the money calls are close to the stirke with 3 months time value left, do they just expire worthless at the time of the deal closing?

Well guys, I had sold my shares a few weeks ago, made a few trades, made back my losses and have gotten back in this morning. The great thing is, my price is still lower than my previous average. Just a little ticked that I held off from my gut reaction to get in sooner.

I am sure at less than $3.00 per share the Sellers will be lining up. Why do they even print this cr@p????

Sorry if i seem like a noob here, but what happens to our shares if they do go private?
To take a company private, the person/entity has to buy back all the public shares. So they do a tender offer and if enough people offer there shares (generally it needs to be 90%) then everyone gets bought out at that price. If less than 90% tender their shares, then the tender offer fails and none of the shares get purchased. A private company can't have over a certain number of shareholders. In US I think it is 500 as the limit. Probably a similar law exists in Canada.

If it is day traders it is 1% of the shares changing hands 20 times or 2% of the shares changing hands 10 times and so on.

easy isn't it, make an insane story that's topical but really stretching it, watch people flock to your link bait headline and see the dollar signs float by with the page hits.

that's why they print it im guessing, cash valued over journalistic pride I guess.
