    Just an off topic FYI for all the investors. Trans Mountain approved a million barrel west to east pipeline today...

    Heavy oil will lose the "ugly sister tax" and receive full price on an open market....zero differential is anticipated.

    I will not list players as the large caps are well known and there are a bunch of mid to smalls that are going to do real well over the next 24 months.

    BlackBerry India seems to have announced an EMI scheme for the smartphone as the Q5 is now available in the market with a 12 month EMI option. Under this scheme, consumers who choose to buy the handset using the credit card will have to pay only Rs 2,082 per month.


    BlackBerry can relish success with the EMI scheme for Q5 as the handset is already low priced as compared to the other BlackBerry 10 based phones ? Z10 and Q10. In addition to it, a monthly payment option of Rs 2,082 would be easy on the pockets of consumers with tight budget.

    Sounds interesting!

    The BlackBerry 10 now supports gamepad controllers, and the phonemaker is pushing to get more developers to make games for the device, according to BlackBerry's team leader of its games division, Sean Paul Taylor.

    Speaking to Polygon, Taylor said all BlackBerry 10 devices can now be turned into console-like gaming devices by connecting them to consumer HID gamepad controllers and an HDMI cable hookup to a television set. In doing so, players can either play their mobile games on a television set, or they can dock their phone on a controller and play it as a handheld console.

    The phones connect to the devices via Blue-tooth and support them right out of the box. There is no need to install gamepad apps. Among the gamepad controllers compatible with the BlackBerry 10 are the Moga Pro Game controller, the SteelSeries Free controller, the Gametel controller and Nintendo Wii Remote.

    I thought a quick comparison of PALM and BBRY would be helpful. One of my friends who is a CFA sent this to me. Btw the acid test refers to if a company has enough short term assets to cover it's immediate liabilities without selling inventory. also on the last date 4/28 titled SOLD is when HP bought PALM

    Hold on... Palm started doing better towards the end? I wasn't paying much attention but the tech blogs were acting like they were just about dead. Perhaps I misread these though. I have no idea what this actually means or is supposed to say about BBRY.

    The report is correct , I'm in Nigeria and BlackBerry phones are used more than anyone else.
    What is happening to BlackBerry is caused by carriers and BlackBerry's Channel Partners. If time is not taken. These guys will take blackberry out of business. Carriers and Channel Partners will always have alternative!
