its the PB pricing problem all over again. BBRY always overestimates the true market value of their devices. I am not sure why, bu they do. That always hinders a products launch and sales numbers, a viscous circle.
There has been a weird disconnect in the UK between BBRY's self-image and its actual customer base in recent years - we heard a lot about "toys not tools", productivity and all that but the real consumer for bbry's products (outside of enterprise) has been parents buying cheap burner phones for kids (curves) or people on low incomes such as teenagers buy their first phone and wanting cheap data packages - it's almost like BBRY think this is a short blip and when they wake up, they will be a brand that commands a decent premium.

By any metrics, selling nearly 1 million new phones per month is far from "lack of any interest".

Regarding the A10, I am hoping that it will be called Z11 or something like that to indicate an evolution of the Z10.

According to the leaks, it's called the ZOO.

"Blackberry ZOO. Because it brings out the party animal within you. Keep Moving. "

Tastes like cotton and ketchup. If you cut them into bits and stew them for a few days its not too bad.

Since BB10 never made it to the Playbook, the context of the quote has changed a bit though.

I'm sure it will be spun somehow but it's really only 35000 subs on their network and I can see their point of cost vs returns.

The strong sales of the iPhone is really bad news for BBRY, the iPhone dominates in the corporate market and is the main rival for BB10.

I wonder if bbry can leverage its NOC and enter this space (ie: secure cloud services) and profit.
I want thinking more of the service side vs the certification side.

    'U.S. Privatizes Cloud Security Clearance'

    http://blogs.wsj.com/riskandcomplian...ity-clearance/

The U.S. certification, called FedRAMP, is designed to help federal agencies move to the cloud by stamping an approval on cloud providers that can demonstrate they meet security standards, in areas like encryption and data deletion. The FedRAMP certification allows government agencies to move sensitive data into the cloud with the approved vendor.

I had actually been trading it since March, but he reinforced my choice.

Can someone please confirm that BBM channels will be available immediately on other platforms when BBM is available on other platforms?
