Can anyone advice if an sell stop order was placed base on an earlier numbers, would that be filled to an earlier buyer at that price?
Not sure I understand the Q.
If it wasn't filled already then no?

someone on this board said that FCF is more important than EPS right?
    It's significant.

The last thing BBRY needs right now is debt.

Damn. If the stock goes up another 20 cents I can't average down anymore. Even a dead cat bounce will probably eliminate that option.

Not if it opens lower than your stop loss order. Which I'm assuming is the case.

at least now we'll get a bounce from the retail short 'profit takers' instead of losing value from the long profit takers lol

Institutional shorts are going to continue to ride this harder now IMHO.

I need to decide at what price am I willing to stomach the loss.....

No, lets be honest with ourselves here.

BB10 on the Playbook would have been a complete headache for device compatibility. They'd have to code it so that it could bridge with both BB7 and BB10 phones or they'd be dumping features.

Going forwards to 10.2, they'd be adding features the playbook wouldn't be able to implement.

Still, I want BB10-lite on my damned Playbook. Keep the UI the same but give us Cascades, the new browser, USB Host and headless apps.

That's not a lot to ask for, and it keeps the BB World market from undergoing further fragmentation.
Playbook doesn't have enough RAM to run the current 10.1. End of story.

Well said..honestly i was thinking of closing me entire position and take a very large hit but I know im only doing it because of high emotions. I did have an eye on Q2 right now but the guidance for Q2 wasn't that great either

    What about breakeven EPS?

If you ignore the Venezuelan special case, it's ($0.03), right? I don't see losing $16M as being that hard to swallow in a quarter that mostly didn't have the Q10 selling in it.
I am trying to find info on which launch countries were in June. I found US and India as somewhat significant markets that launched after June 2.

I'm not claiming to be an expert, and who knows, maybe it'll tank some more next week...but I would say definitely don't sell today. Especially not at the bell.

    Let it settle.

It can run the development environments though.

I don't care that it won't support a fancy lock screen. I just want a handful of important features that the device is capable of, but haven't been supported yet.

The Q10 and Q5 will have essentially a full quarter of sales for Q2.

I've said it before...I think September will be their "smash out" quarter. However, after seeing today's results, I'm expecting next quarter to be a beat by a small margin.

i agree. it takes a village. i know ive done my part and i still truly believe BB10 and the Z and Q are the best phones in the market. its the fuking developers that refuse to develop/port to bb that are sabotaging the OS.
It's the shorts who are paying the big names to not develop.

And media shills to bash the brand. Looks like they have done a good job in the US market.

Blackberry Legal should have been on a bear hunt with lawsuits for market manipulation from the start - where warranted.

This is the world we live in.

No point in whining. BlackBerry needs to fight back with success and better marketing campaigns.

Survival of the fittest. No one got to the top by whining.

Thank you for thinking of me. I'm right here with you in solidarity. I'm trying to figure out what shade of lipstick will look best on this pig of a report. I'm disappointed in how BBRY chose to convey its comeback potential and that little effort was made to spotlight the positives and dim the negatives. I'm not talking about lying--I'm talking about putting a positive spin on a complex story especially to keep the naysayers at bay. TH displayed little elegance or sophistication in this respect and I am disappointed but my long term outlook is virtually unaffected by today's report. In other words, I'm holding all of my shares. I will post more about why in future messages.

Good Luck to all ! consider today a wisdom lesson ...
