Well I added shares when it was 14.10 on Friday. I did receive my shareholders notice to attend from Questrade which is nice to know that my first batch of shares I bought (small amount) is not being lent out.

I think I'll watch the live presentation from Apple about their new IOs7 platform, see if they are going to copy BB in getting rid of backbutton and stuff.

I would say this is more of an exception than rule as I know 4-5 people with new S4 units and they have worked perfectly. Mine has operated without a glitch but was not for me.

I think that's a tad on the optimistic side for the day. I'll be happy with a 1-1.5% gain for the day. This allows for proper support and confidence where rising too fast will trigger sells for profit and will easily retract quickly. My thoughts only but I think they're logical.

I think the phone makers have run out of "WOW" features. Not much else we can ask with todays technology. I agree that the S4 is very close to the S3. The new features are just ginicks in my opinion. But the screen and buttery smooth operation of the S3/S4 are really nice. Not saying the Q10 is not nice but it does still need some work and Blackberry will keep on updating.

OK - something for the experienced traders to comment on.

We know that the shorts have been in control of the SP, especially seeing after Q4 'profit' the stock tanks as the bears hammered it due to sub loss and whatever other theory they were passing off.

Now the float is 35% shorted, likely to rise maybe even to 37% by the ER. That is a lot of shares sold short.

So my question is - if BBRY reports good numbers - say $0.80 per share EPS, and service revenue decline of maybe 5%, and don't report sub #s (I'm hoping the don't), unit sales of 4M BB10 + 4M BB7 -- these would be great numbers.

Can the shorts still control the SP given there are not a lot of shares available to short? And by the ER I'm thinking they will be totally OUT / NO shares to short? How would they be able to push the SP down with good numbers and no shares left to short?
