No kidding. I'm still floored as to how he came to the conclusion that combined, the Z and Q are falling far short of half a million per month. That is just ******* ridiculous. The Z sell through was about 700,000 in one month with only 2 countries getting it for the whole time. Now that the Z is in over 40 countries, and the Q has been selling extremely well, I just can't wrap my brain around it... even in the worst case scenario, it just doesn't make sense. How they can get away with this, and keep their jobs after being disproven time and time again baffles me.

He's setting himself up for the ER. When the margins are high again, he will say 'I told you they would be and why' When shipments are 10 mill total units, he will say 'yes but this was channel stuffing like I told you last month, sell through is low'. It's really quite predictable, rinse repeat and we longs get screwed. The good news is it just can't go on forever, eventually the washing machine will break down.

Unforunately I would agree based on checks at my local Walmarts - where it appears the same number of boxes are sitting behind the glass shelf week after week. Not that many people buy smartphones from Walmart, though, but still I am worried about that.

Day over day, and week after week, shelves tend to get restocked, and there are values attributed to the number of units to occupy a space.
