Stocktwits has some info about a very bullish report from TP Strategic Partners. This may have caused or at least contributed to the rise of the BBRY stock price today. Anyone here knows about the degree of credibility of TP Strategic Partners? I will take a positive report about BBRY any day but I would love it to be coming from a credible source.

Okay, it's chart time!

Here is where we left off yesterday:


The problem yesterday for TA guys was where do we place the support line? The support that I felt could hold was the low $ 14.00's because it was our most recent low and the stock is over sold. Time will tell as to which support line to use here, but for now let's go with the most promising one at the $ 14.00/shr mark.

Next, we need to know what resistance levels need to be broken for a rally:



In this chart, we have the low of the day, not unlike the low set last week ????? and, we have the 3-dma and the 5-dma to contend with. We also have a curious high for the day which is the high for yesterday! We therefore need to get above the 5-dma and make a new high today in order to turn this ship around. The next resistance is the 50-dma and the centerline for the Bollinger Bands ( about $ 15.05/shr)

So here is my theory on all of this:

Yesterday we had the last flurry of selling before the Funds mark their closing positions for the month. Settlement in the US is 2-days and in Canada it is 3-days so the pressure to sell the stock came off yesterday for the US and Canada is done today. That's a load of potential selling out of the way. Remember, many Funds use the end of November as their yearend making the end of May their 6-month period. This also means that all new purchases starting today in America, are for June and beyond! The fact that the stock has cleared its 3-dma and 5-dma in short order suggests that money is now flowing into the trade. We might be at the beginning of that major rally here.

So watch for the stock to move toward the high of the day, that $ 14.54/shr is our first step in moving higher here. I would think we will take it out today, we are just wasting time waiting for the market to get closer to closing.

Conclusion:
We are going up from here.

If you click on research then options underneath, you can view the options activity. Then click on view NYSE as the US options have a lot more volume. Hope this helps.

You guys are cracking me up. I'm sitting here drinking a German beer relaxed in knowing we are going in the right direction. I am going to take advantage of a few other stocks in the same situation BB was in earlier so I can get in cheaper, but the plan is to wait things out now and cash in later. We're all in this to make money right?

M+8, it seems that the MACD (12,26,9) is a definite indicator to follow. The bottoms of the MACD for March, April, and now May fall along a perfect line.

The volume on the $14.50 call options expiring today have almost doubled in less than an hour. Moving up from 5744 to 9330. With this level of activity we could close over $14.50 today.
