I have never met a CEO who doesn't give a sh*t about the stock price of their company.

At the moment I don't think anyone can answer that one.

Given this, I'm most certain that we're going to be in the $13s region. My read on the SP didn't factor in this market dive and I was thinking a worst case of $14.30. Now with the market diving and the potential for a raid on top of it, heck we could dive to low $13s and shoot up again.

Lol...guys, don't be so hard on yourselves. We all know it's a great OS on great hardware with strong sales and a wonderful management team...what do you think the ER numbers are going to say? That's all that matters unless your "playing the trend" like our friend BB_T.

Agreed. I'm pretty confident, just trying to add some more with some funds I had freed up.

All the way under $14 you think?

There seems to be potential IF a bear raid takes place.

If we end the day up, as it's trending, will that still be valid?

It's been falling all week. Today looks like a good rebound day.

I'm a bit curious about stock manipulation strategies though, if indeed that is the case (which in my mind, I agree is 100% happening). But I'm considering this scenario and want to get some input. Lets say bear raid happens a few times through the week, dropping the stock 10%-15%, blowing through stops and driving it much lower. Would it then make sense for them to cover a good portion (cause a small rally) and take some profits? More retail purchases as the stock rallys and the bears wait until the SP is a little higher and then bear raid again blowing through the same stop points and more.

Yep it will still be valid. I am officially out. I could send some more funds into the account, but I am out of those too. Well, that's life.

Good luck to all of you tough! Since I am out, the stock should go to 20 in a week or less.

Can someone explain what the difference is between using different RSI values like 14 or 10 or whatever other number? Why are there different ways and why do the numbers vary so drastically? The default one used on Stockcharts is 14 so that's what I've been trying to learn from.

I think I'll wait until next week or later to buy more, just in case it gets raided.

The RSI is basically the indexed changed of the Average Gain / Average Loss of a SP for a given number of periods, e.g. RSI (10) is for 10 periods and so on.

I prefer to use the RSI (10).

I'm sure M+8 can give you a much better explanation but that's the nuts and bolts.

Ok cool... is there a "standard" period that is used or is it more of a personal preference?

For me, I have a bag of cash waiting to put into this stock and given it's on its downswing I tend to hoot and holler as it sinks. Sorry if it bothers you but I got a wad sitting long too and my end game is no different than yours.

In fact, I would argue that the scenario right now is not much different than a roller coaster and equally as exciting.

I prefer to use the RSI(10). I believe that M+8 says he uses the 14 for work but prefers the 10 for his own stuff...he commented a while back about it.
