I would agree that this back and forth discussion is a little drawn out but I really like how this keynote is focused on the future and possibilities of where BB can go and a lot less on just the mobile hardware

Yeah but it's so far from the actual consumer that it's just as well to say they have it on the space station. I hope that's not their aim to excite us.

not much really. Showed the Q5, showed BBM Video from the in car system, showed remote car OS updates from Z10, announced working with Mercedes, some new apps.... blah blah blah... nothing ground breaking yet.

Yea thats understandable. but its also a strategic marketing attempt. Lots of companies do it but I think what they are trying to accomplish is success through association. When and if QNX becomes mainstream to the everyday consumer they will want to leverage the relationship established with Bentley as a selling strategy for cars that come with QNX. Its the way the mind works with alot of things. When consumers start to think "you mean, this feature comes in a Bentley? and I can get it in a Corolla?!". That is the kind of reaction I think they are hoping to achieve.

It is most certainly a long term strategy and something that isn't going to excite the consumer today. but it is something that over time will hopefully start to be absorbed into the marketplace.

Lol bears aren't doing this its thors amazing lack of public speaking and the last few days gains were based on hype on assumptions of announcements that never happened. If anything the long pumpers are to blame for this making claims of what would have been said today.
