Wow, what a great week we had last week! Take a look at this chart and show me were that huge bear raid is:

A virtual beer for the first person to find that bear raid ................ go!
The BBRY Café. [Formerly: I support BBRY and I buy shares!]-rim-april-27-2013-chart.jpg

The boundaries are those two blue lines which continue to come together, we at heading up, within a green channel towards the top of the descending blue line which is targeted at $ 15.75/shr for this week. That's not far to go here and Monday can even be a flat to slightly up day because Friday was such a perfect day! We normally never get a free day of trading but we have one at $ 15.00 in which to base a bit before we push on. The amazing thing was that the negative news and the big sell-off failed. Now if you are short 164 million shares and your raid didn't work, you would be very nervous going into this week.

We have to stay within the green channel lines and make our way to $ 15.75/shr where the biggest decision the bulls have made in months, occurs. Can we break through this time and get above the downtrend line? Everything is in place, a new product, a weak Samsung product, a weak AAPL stock, and the RSI is set to take us to $ 18.00/shr here. If we can get through, and hold the $ 15.75/shr resistance point, we will be starting a whole new level of trading range here, something like $ 15.00/shr as the base and $ 18.00 as the high until news drives us higher. Things have really changed since Heins put his foot down, you normally could find that bear raid drunk, but today it is different. Where I have placed the circle, you know that is doesn't take 5 trading days to fill the rest of that green channel, therefore, we can expect all of this to clear up in the first 4 days of next week. This chart is going to look different this coming week. GL

I'm just a bit stunned by this.

BlackBerry Just said "F U" to the cloud with this.

Which, btw I've always thought was stupid and have always avoided.

    iPhone 5 @ 10%?

Ouch. This quarter might be ugly for APPL. 10% with most votes on the site likely coming from their top (US) market.

    4% for the Z.

Gotta think at least that for the Q (5%).

So let's say same poll next month give BB 9%. What would be a crazy good indicator.

    4% now.

Yup. I guess we now know why they sold New Bay. There was simply no need to pay to have the servers and people to run them.

Agreed! I don't want "things" having access to my data up in a cloud somewhere. I want it in my arse pocket or close to it.

Adds to the inherent security BB is known for. Your devices, your data. No third party that can be hacked and of which you have no control over. This is a HUGE departure to what everyone else is touting as the way you share your info between devices.

Not sure if anyone has linked to this article. Very unbiased and fair review. To summarize and paraphrase "...As an iPhone user since 2007....the Q10 is my next phone"

I found this linked from linkedin recommended news....that's a great place for the business crowd (and top target market for the Q) to come across a solid review.

I am think that the personal remote access (as referred to above) can complement BlackBerry 's cloud services in the future. I would trust and pay to store my info on BlackBerry 's NOC.

The point of this is not to have to have your stuff stored on ANY cloud. Why upload your documents and files from your computer to the cloud then download to your phone when you can cut out the middle man. There's a direct link between your computer and your phone and, from what I've read, you can share and email said files right from your phone, not just view them. Although I'm not one to go with leaked software, I'm giving this one some serious consideration.

I agree with your comments but this for is about bbry and I think BlackBerry can develop new service revenue by allowing files to be stored and transported via the NOC. I don't know if Citrix is making any money on this but look at what they are charging for online storage and collaboration. www.sharefile.com

P.S: Is that me or there's a boob explosion around ? (maybe we could limit this a little, don't you think ? Some of us read this thread @ work and this could be embarrassing.

Thank's Superfly, I do read this at work and at all hours when I have some free time. Unfortunately for me and a few others - quite a few others probably - there's such a thing as workplace harassment/discrimination policies that have prevented me from truly enjoying one of the best forums (and this thread in particular) out there. It goes beyond embarrassing for me as I can actually be disciplined if the content isn't viewed (or monitored internally....yes, my place can do that) as professional. Sad but true.

I'm not a prude and I'll probably get slammed for this but c'mon....it's getting really uncomfortable at times. So this past and very exciting week I've had to stay away for the most part or feel like a criminal when I'm trying to follow along or catch up. And then there was the homefront last night when my 14 year old daughter asked me why I was looking at a porn sight. Uh oh. What d'ya do?? Tell her that it's just fun stuff to alleviate the stress?? I got caught big time lol and the "yeah right" look that she gave me just didn't fare well against my weekly "be careful of your social media sites" lectures.

End of plea. Still love y'all but I might have to become the first "Closet Crackberrian" in the thread

Since they sold the cloud service they did own, and partnered with Box and Drop Box for the cloud, I'm sure they weighed the pros and cons to such a venture. Until they have A LOT more users, it wouldn't be financially viable when there are so many other options out there and cross platform ones at that.

Anyway, on the topic of the cloud, to be using Mobile computing and to get away from the bulky computers and laptops, BlackBerry has to have some storage capabilities on these new devices. I don't like the cloud either but if your devices don't have much storage then the point is mute.
