Once the Q10 is released I think we can expect a pretty solid lineup of products.

"Self selection bias". Also, that's not the proper usage of "statistically significant" either. "Statistical significance" refers to the number of standard deviations the result is above the median(?). You can have a sample size of 1 million and not have a statistically significant result. -.-
You figure that out on your Windows Phone?

    OK Statistically representative. Happy now?

I was going to comment on that as well. Should bode well for Monday hopefully. Funny how sometimes the google news search will show lots of negative stories, even really old ones, one day and the next day all of a sudden positive. I know its all controlled by algorithms but It still seems funny sometimes...

I love what I am hearing. He's painting a very clear picture of the company's great growth potential and it doesn't rely entirely on the US.

Rumours have circulated for months that BlackBerry could sell its hardware business and gravitate towards being a provider of services, such as secure networks. Heins downplayed a separation of its hardware and services divisions.

“BlackBerry is an end-to-end solution,” he said.

“Throwing one of these pots away would mean we break our business model in terms of security. Security still matters,” he said.

Blackberry sales boom puts maker back in black - Business - NZ Herald News

Sterne Agee analyst Shaw Wu said RIM had returned to profitability much sooner than expected.

He said the success was driven by higher gross margins, cost reductions and the sale of the new BlackBerry.

In a research note, Wu wrote that RIM "is here to stay with stabilisation in its business and balance sheet"

This can not be adult behaviour.

Is it a sign of immaturity?

CANOE -- Technology: Cheaper BlackBerry handset confirmed

citing a "big demand" for a midrange handset in a host of markets, Heins said that a third handset would be launched in September that would cost less than the existing BlackBerry 10 handsets -- the full touch screen Z10 and the QWERTY-keyboard/touch-screen hybrid Q10, both of which are priced to compete with the iPhone 5 rather than with entry-level Android devices.

    Bullish enough?

"I thought they were dead. This is a huge turnaround," said Jefferies analyst Peter Misek.

Misek said the Canadian company "demolished" the numbers, especially its gross margins. RIM reported gross margins of 40 per cent, up from 34 per cent a year earlier, crediting higher average selling prices and higher margins for devices.

"This is a really, really good result," Misek said. "It's off to a good start."
