    Way up

Remember, options are derivatives and therefore are based upon the price of the underlying asset, which in this case is BBRY!

Question for experienced folks: if there is a short-squeeze, will options also go up? I have quite a few options for 2014 expiry. But if there is a short squeeze, they'd be purchasing stocks, not options. right?

That's exactly what I did, but back several months now...

I'm tempted to sell off my BAC stock which isn't doing much for me and use that here. Its not that much though, but I guess every bit counts.

im not 'experienced', but i beleive that yes, they could take call options. However, this is usually to 'hedge' thier bets, meaning they make cheap high calls (say $20 late-april) that are inexpensive now, but in the case of a short squeeze will be worth much more, and help ease the losses of the short positions. However, this is a different tactic then i think you referred (can someone confirm?)

Just an FYI, not to get your hopes up. The chances of a "VW" squeeze is .000001%. But hey, that's better than nothing

Your brokerage should offer real-time quotes?

    $15.12CAD as of 2:51PM btw.

I said a couple weeks ago that we would bounce around $15 until ER, I just never said how high the bounces would be

No way for a VW squeeze to happen for sure - that was like a cornering of the market. But the history books might call this one the BBRY squeeze of 2013 - repetitious short selling of stock to the effect that over 100% of the company was owned - kinda like musical chairs - somebody could be without a seat when the music stops.

I'm strongly considering adding to my position before the ER, but i'm hoping the price tails off a bit before EOD.

I've decided to sell more little by little as this price goes up. It worries me if people's expectations are becoming too high.

$15 is now entirely viable for the end of the day price. We might even approach $15.50.

look at the charts. every peak is higher and every dip is as well. we should see a few more peaks transit upwards like this until something happens to change the game (right now that game is betting on the ER, and the bets are looking pretty bullish today)

edit; if we hit $15, expect an immediate rally to $15.15 or better as buy limits are hit

They must... poke around the website (once you've logged into your account) and there should be something.

I'm with RBC and they do.

I HIGHLY doubt Perm would care a whistle what the stock does tomorrow. He is in for the REAL long haul ie. 3-5 years.

However, I would imagine Perm will suggest to r$ch buddies that it may be an epic buying opportunity.

One more thought, Prem obviously has some very wealthy friends, don't you think he could call in a favor or two to pump up the stock to get the shorts nervous before tomorrow?

I have a bunch set aside in case there is a big dip. Feeling good about this either way it goes in the morning.
