I just bought my first few shares today! I wish I had been able to buy earlier but other commitments kept me from doing so until now... so I missed out on shares for $6.00. Now I hope that $16 is decent, and we see some more upward swing. I'm in for the long haul though so I'm pretty excited not just for the coming weeks (I'm buying more shares) but for the future days of true mobile computing.
I think 16 isn't bad either. I will be adding to my BB portfolio at this price too. Also in for the long haul....
    Enjoy the ride!

No, the one where all your information is downloaded to Wal-Mart's computer.
Not that I'm trying to spread rumors or anything, but maybe it's possible.
One thing they probably track is location in store by using multiple wireless devices and triangulate. All you need to do is give the app permission to use wifi.

Defense spokesman says DoD not dumping BlackBerry - Computerworld

A U.S. Department of Defense spokesman on Thursday said a report suggesting the defense agency is dumping BlackBerry devices was inaccurate, and that BlackBerry is still part of ongoing DoD mobile device deployment plans.
I saw that article yesterday and laughed. No way we at DoD will use Apple or any other non-secure device for our business.

Anyone here likes the share price going up?
If yes, then I will sell some shares. Once I sold then I guarantee that the price will go up. :-)

In a day when I was boring, such as today, I would sell some shares to see whether I could buy back lower and make a few $ for a nice dinner. Guess what, 90% time, the price went up. :-)

I just sold 300 shares at 16.23 and will buy back at 16.10, which will made $24 ($39 - %15 commission).
Let us watch to see whether I can make the $24 for the dinner.

The reason it has been going up the way it has, is because I've been wanting to buy!

Dangit!!! I missed my limit order of 16.55 by 2 frickin cents on that last dip! WTH! We don't even have pennies in Canada anymore. Why didn't they round $16.57 down to $16.55 and fill my order?

Should be 100% by next ER.

Noting a pattern today - spike up to a new HOD, pull back - but not below previous low. Repeat to a new HOD, and a new higher low.

We'll see if it continues through a fourth time..

There will be no dip! No dips allowed from now on. Only a steady climb to $100 at 1-2 % per day.

Most definately. When this hits $18 my finger will be on the trigger. I'll ride it up as far as it goes but sell the second it starts to dip. It will dip and dip deep. I'll buy back in and continue this throughout the year as all the devices are released. Why? because I'm not "long" on this stock but rather enjoy the fun playing in it's market. When everything's said and done next year and there's no new devices coming out I'll concentrate more on my other stocks. Some of us love Blackberry but are just doing this for fun. I have nothing to lose I haven't already written off.

I'm thinking we've settled in for the day notwithstanding any news, good or bad. There's been a slow and steady decline in volume and the volatility has slowed along with it.

They are small programs that provide a small window on your windows home screen that you can glance at quickly for information. Clock, CPU usage and weather are examples. Want a stock tracker!

If start at $16.20. Then at 1.5% everyday, it'd take us approx 123 trading days to cross $100 mark! That's like 6 months. Not bad!
